Ljunkan (103), Karlstad, Sweden May 7, 2008 On tap @ Bishops Arms, Karlstad, Sweden. This one was really tasty on tap! Lots of banana and spices with a wonderful sweetness. I love it! It’s so refreshing and "childish" to drink, almost like a soda.
zappafan99 (213), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 17, 2008 Taste 7/8 Bottle 3078. Tasted in a weihenstephaner glass (ohhlala). Looks: Cloudy wheat in a golden body. Thick white head. Aroma: Wheat, yeasty and sweet. Taste: Smooth, light bodied. Effercescent and very drinkable. A nice mild hops bite in the finish. DasGrau (3), Topeka, Kansas, USA does not count Jul 16, 2008 a good example of a hefe weissbier. bannana like smell, nice big head, a nice smooth finish to this beer. A great beer for a hot summer day! The perfect bier too fill ones stein! smetrick (5), Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Jul 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. I would prefer to get the half liter bottles of this, if I could. Cloudy, blond with billowy, ample head. Lots of carbonation, lots of flavor- sour banana. tart, refreshing. Complex, forward yeast flavor. Must compare this to some local wheat beers. urraca (36), New Jersey, USA Jul 15, 2008 Wheat beers are my favorite, and this is by far the best sample I’ve gotten. I have zero clue why it took me so long to try.
Absolutely brilliant golden-yellow with a great, large, airy. white head that lasts for quite some time. Superb head retention that slowly reduces to a full silky canopy and lace. Very Vibrant bouquet with major hints of banana, citrus, and a hint of cloves and vanilla. Citrus favors dominate along with major compliments of banana and clove. I’m now on a major mission to find this on tap, but the bottles are other worldly already. ndfreak77 (70), USA Jul 13, 2008 Poured from a tap a light cloudy orange. Sweet and refreshing combination of notes and yeast with a touch of fruit,
