Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

Eyes closed. Banana. A nice dark weisse mit hefe. Just a stand-up beer. I could drink this all day. I am reminded of times in the Bavarian countryside. Maybe some dark bread some local Bavarian meat and cheese would be nice right now

My favorite Dunkelweizen. The banana flavor/aroma is downplayed from the traditional Hefe and the maltiness replaces it. The clove flavor is terrific. A fantastic beer.

Hands above franziskan dunkelweisen. If you can tell i have been on a German thing for the past week or so. Nose is of wheat and barn stalls. A Coudy brown with the expected out of controll eruption of head. Settled down nicely to creamy tan head and slowly to a film of carbonation. Legs are small and un-connected, spotty. Body is malty and smooth. I am now wishing for an accordian and some knockwurst........Quite acceptrable. again I berate myself for my lack of vison of only pruchasing one!

Bottle. Opaque brown with a big, off-white head. Aroma of banana, cloves and caramel. Some mouth feel with flavours of bananas, spice and yeast. Well-balanced.
