Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

50cl shared bottle @ home from Mitra. Hazy deep amber color, strong big creamy off-white head. Aroma tropical fruit and caramel in the nose, flavor is cereal, slightly citric, pie, banana, green tea. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter, hint of sourness. Medium body, creamy and sticky texture, soft to medium carbonation, fruity-sweetish finish. Easy to drink, very refreshing, a bit too sweet for me.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy light brown with a long lasting, huge off-white head. Sweet aroma with notes of banana, wheat, roasted malt and light yeast. Sweet flavour with notes of banana, roasted malt, wheat and yeast. Medium body with oily texture and soft carbonation. A very good dunkelweizen.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Appearance: Dark golden brown, slight reddish hues, cloudy as all good wheat beer are. Good head about three fingers worth when first poured. A small head stays throughout drinking. Aroma: Beautiful malty smell, a sweet apple/bread aroma that finishes off with a spicy-ness. Taste: Medium body, very flavorful. You first pick up a clove and nice twang taste from this beer. There is a bit of bitterness to it but it is balanced out with the flavor of banana and caramel. Mouth feel: Very smooth and creamy, perfect amount of carbonation. Very crisp and clean tasting. If you like Dark hefeweissbeirs this is an excellent choice. I will never turn one of these down Serving type: bottle

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 Really nice beer. Really good clove and spice notes. Only real weakness is taste lacks a bit of depth -- but then again pretty much all wheat beers do. One of the better wheat beers I have had.

Dark orange with a light tan head. Malty with a touch of nuts and caramel. Not too sweet. Hints of orange and banana. Very nice and balanced.

Another fine example of its kind. Not my favorite style, but one I try and treat with the respect I’m sure it deserves. To me the tastes are that of bread, cloves and koriander (banana). It is fairly sweet and caramel tinged, and I would have liked it if it could have had a bit more hoppy bitterness. Good body, I often think beers like these are a bit "watery".

Hard to track everything going on in this brew, but the bananas and cloves are definitely there (softly) with a smooth, light sweetness. Everything I’ve ever had from this brewery has been a delight.
