Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

Belle couleur.

Golden brown with one and a half finger bread. Smell of banana. Taste of roast malt, banana, and clove. End with little sour and alcohol taste. Light carbonation and medium body. A good smooth beer with little taste of alcohol like all other weihenstephaner beer. Good stuff

500 ml butelka.

Pours from the bottle cloudy light brown. The crown is frothy and lingers for much of the duration. The aroma is yeasty and banana sweet, with noticeable Weizen. The taste is malty sweet with roasted notes. Finishes crisp and refreshing with a light sour twist that is slightly warming. All in all this feels like a well balanced brew, harmonious, and finishing leaves you feeling ready for the next one. Excellent stuff.

Bottle from andersons. Nose is wheat and dark Sugar. Super smooth and pretty light with little carbonation that fades quickly. Malty punch up front. Cherry, wheat, toasted cereal, and bit of raisin and clove for good measure. Pretty good and would do again but wouldn't go out of my way to seek it out.

Pint bottle. One I am surprised to not have ticked long ago. Murky brown with a big off white foam that slowly falls. The aroma is wheat and yeast. Plenty of malts in there, too. Rich malts fruit are tasted and they just keep coming. Lighter fruit. Bananas, gentle cloves, bubble gum, and yeast. A little chocolate. Those malts are almost syrupy. The finish brings a little more fruit along with that syrup and then a hint of alcohol.
