COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

Mild and smooth; everything you want in a dunkel. Tastes of Carmel and split pea soup. Nice amber color. Frothy head.

Jó kis búzasör. Érdemes egyszer (többször) megkóstolni, itthon nem sok féle kapható még.

Colore ambrato scuro, torbido.

Hard to imagine a much better Dunkelweizen could exist. Nice malty sweetness, mushy bananas, clove, easy to drink, very tasty.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ Barley Legal Tasting Room. Thanks to Kraddel! Reddish dark amber, tanned head. Smell is pure fish guts mixed with lots of brown sugar & brown banana. Taste is same, lots of fish guts, bread, oodles of brown sugar, sweet spices, brown banana. Very fizzy. Far too much fish guts for my liking maybe age can get rid of that but for now as it is fresh, this is far too much.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a weizen glass. The appearance had a nice dark brown color with a three finger white foamy head that moderately dissipated and left a great deal of foamy white lacing sticking finely to the glass. The smell had a wonderful amount of sweet sticky chocolate to coat over some light banana along with some sweet German malts. I also get some light cinnamon as the beer warms up a bit. The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to town and made a super nice sweet yet still had that slight cinnamon spice underneath. On the palate, this one sat right at a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about this one. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as it was just right on par all around. Overall, what a nice dunkelweizen well worth having again.
