Aroma: typical for good weizen: spices, banana, sweetness, hint of yeast, caramel is really well hidden behind everything else. Pours hazy brown with nice light tan head. Head stays for a while. Taste: really creamy (almost like butter!), light citrus, spices, caramel, malt, light sourness and sweetness. Medium carbonation. Overall: good example of dunkelweizen, but for some reason I don’t really enjoy drinking this as much as I hoped (hence rather low overall).

Did someone seriously just compare this to Blue Moon? You gotta love the internet. Anyway, Bottle. Brown with one finger head. Sweet caramel malt. Mild fruitiness. Excellent mix of flavors.

3 oz. sample at Exhibit A(le). Pours dark brown, with a small, tan head. The aroma is unmistakably banana bread (notes of pecans, ripe bananas, and grains). With that aroma in mind, it was hard to pick up anything else. The flavor is sweet and bready, with very little bitterness. Medium body, smooth and creamy. The aftertaste is minimal. This is a delicious, surprisingly complex, yet balanced beer. Very smooth and drinkable. Recommended.

Very bad beer for how much it costs. 14 dollars for a six pack. Blue moon belgian white is significantly better as far as getting more for your money. Too much head. Too complex and no substance whatsoever. Adds in too much and is an overall terrible beer.

Mooie heldere caramelkkeur met goede kraag. Licht zoete geur, mout, caramel en iets, vanille. Smaakt meer als een weissen met een lichte zoetige smaak.

Overall, a pretty solid dunkleweiss that provides the best of both worlds.
