Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

Bottle picked up at Consumers beverages Niagara Falls. Pours a cloudy deep copper, massive white head, loads of clumpy lace piles. Nose is sweet, fruity. Tastes sweet, light, but malty, a little beer that fades fast. Really tasty, and sessionsable.

Butelka 0,5l Pite pierwszy raz w browarze we Freising ok.1998r, posiadam kufel. Teraz ponawiam próbę z oceną. Mam wielki sentyment do tego piwa. Kolor ciemny nieprzejrzysty, piana średnia, mocna. Aromat bananów i lekki goździków, smak bananów i suszonych owoców z dominacją śliwek, lekka kwaskowatość. Średnia goryczka, dużo ciała, bardzo dobry weizen ze wskazaniem na ten sprzed prawie dwudziestu lat we Freising. Klasyka.

Bottle from Sprout’s: Poured a dark tea brown that was completely opaque because of how much sediment is floating inside the liquid. Foam created a thick monstrous sizing of foam cap. Aroma smells sugary sweet with fruity esters that suggest banana or plantains while a delicate touch of bubble gum and spices stimulate my senses. The beer comes across strong flavor of sweetness but in a delighting good way. Only able to pick up on a minimal taste of caramelized malts with an aftertaste that leaves behind traces of banana, bubblegum and clove. Actually quite tasty and would prefer to drink more than just one pint of this.

Aroma: yeasty, sour; Appearance: dark brown with frothy head and some lacing; Taste: smooth, sweet with some fruity hints; a little bit of a bite; not bad; Palate: medium body, average carbonation; finish a little bitter with some banana; Overall: decent beer; not very complex but pleasant, a bit sweet for my taste; would buy again if on sale or if on tap.
