Je la soupçonne d’être un peu défraichie. Des arômes de beurre de noisette, pruneaux, blé, levure qui émanent d’un liquide prune/marron chaotique. Le blé transporte les saveurs perçues au nez. Difficile de la critiquer justement.

Delicious combination of the consistency I expect from a wheat beer with the flavor of a stout. Enormous head, although it dissipated quicker than I’d hoped. Nice cloudy amber on the dark side, but lighter than I expected. Aroma of fruit and oak. Tastes like it has a higher ABV than 5%. Good beer.

0.5L glass on tap at Forst Central in Merano. Similar to the regular hefeweissbier with some roasted tones and a dryer finish.
Hazy dark orange to brown color, massive thick offwhite head to dip your nose in, then reducing to an almost permanent lacing, wow! Typical weizen: wheat, yeast, banana, a pinch of clove and lots of citrus and a roasted note. Balanced smooth\crisp, Sweetish, dry, long sourish finish. Almost as good as the blonde one.

500 ml bottle. Light Brown/copper/orange pour with beautiful, big, frothy head and lacing. Aroma is banana, clove, and lemon. Dry and creamy on the palate, interesting, complex flavor, sweet and sour with slight caramel. Light body, soft to average carbonation, somewhat bitter and sour finish.

Visual: The second one of a 3pack gift box. Pours translucent pale brown with a smallish lasting foamy head, several steady streams, not much lacing.
Nose: extreme-euro barley malt beverage with a touch of caramel. (9)-aromatic strength.
Attack: airy, sweet-crisp, creamy-fizzy mouthfeel
Mid-palate: (7)-malty sweetness, alcohol detection (MAIN) barley malt, caramel, yeasty, toast (MILD) ginger
Finish: cereal dry, very mild bitter hopped malty finish.
Summary: An okay-decent dunkel displaying the typical flavour of malt. Drinkable, but not my favourite style of brew. (Note: numbers above are on a 10-point weak-strong scale)

Last review from the November Coop Discovery Beer Bag. Pour is a dark brown with a fairly frothy beige head with decent retention. Aroma is very malty, with puffed wheat square aroma, mild grassiness. Taste is smooth, malty, and very thick - but a very rounded out, balanced beer. Lots of yeast character evocative of some of the trappist brews. Wicked.

Aroma: typical for good weizen: spices, banana, sweetness, hint of yeast, caramel is really well hidden behind everything else. Pours hazy brown with nice light tan head. Head stays for a while. Taste: really creamy (almost like butter!), light citrus, spices, caramel, malt, light sourness and sweetness. Medium carbonation. Overall: good example of dunkelweizen, but for some reason I don’t really enjoy drinking this as much as I hoped (hence rather low overall).
