Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

A - Pours a cloudy honey brown. A mounded 2 finger off-white head that sinks very slow creating a thick ceiling and impressive lacing. S - Yeasty banana bread, very doughy. Lots of wheat with notes of clove and bubblegum. T - Follows the nose with moist banana bread, sweet with clove and a thick wheat backbone. Hints of caramel, berries, and slight nuttiness in the middle. Finishes with a bit more grain in the malt M - Silky smooth and creamy. Tight but low carbonation with a light to medium body. The mouthfeel is perfect! Very elegant flavors and seems to have great balance with the flavors. The wheat still shines and the esters seem perfectly placed. This beer will leave you wanting more. 500 ml bottle. Unclear brown body with a decent, lacing off-white head. Aroma has caramel, banana, hint of bubblegum, light toast and some spices like cloves. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, fruity yeast, hint of toast, banana and spices. Fine balanced body and decent aftertaste. A nice one indeed.

Pours a dark, cloudy brown with off white head. Nose has a lot of banana, clove, wheat, spice and sticky caramel. Taste is predominantly banana, clove, wheat and sweet fruits. Some caramel malts, but a decent yeasty/bread like finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: hazy brown beer with small carbonation and small white foam. Smell: bread domination with caramel and malt notes. Taste: nice work on malt notes of caramel and black bread. Really nice taste good job! Aftertaste: notes of caramel. Good dunkel beer, nice by the style.

Lovely stuff. Chestnut brown with a lasting white head and good lacing. Medium, frothy body. Banana, clove and malts on the nose, these plus bread in the taste. Enjoyed that a lot.

Plum and blueberries on the nose and a grassy, bready backbone with hints of aforementioned plum and blueberry, finishes dry. Solid as expected.

Aroma pugent dried sweet bananas, can’t help but feeling it is a bit artificial. Nice colour, tast like the artificial sweet dried bananas which overpowers the beer. I don’t know how this could be rated so high....

Poured from bottle. Aroma of malt and candy. Cloudy brown with thick lacing head. Flavors of wheat, caramel, smoke, bubble gum and yeast. Slightly watery but way drinkable. Decent but I thought it would be better.

Pours brown, murky body, thickish latte coloured head. Aroma has banana, grain and a hint of cherry. Sweet taste at first, has some candylike flavours. Turns toward bitter and malty near the end. Mouthfeel is slick and a bit foamy due to the carbonation. Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

Pours amber-to-light-brown, cloudy, 1 and 1/2 inches of pinkish-light-tan head with moderate rate of decay to 2mm frothy residual layer. Aroma is multigrain bread, tart wheat beer flavor, light cloves, maybe even a bit of lactic. Body is light, fairly watery, but with fat carbonation presence accompanied by considerable burn. Overall, a soft blanket feel despite wateriness. Flavor is light grain, a tad bit sweet, like a desert bread, bread crust, hint of spice (less clove though...) As I taste, the relatively simple flavor is made more complex by the noticeable aroma. A very nice, dunkelweizen with a pleasantly simple flavor profile. Lots of breadiness and lack of flaws are chief merits.

Strong wheat taste. Very strong malty body. In comclusion: a very nourishing dark wheat beer.
