hombrepalo (457), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2008 Bottle. Poured a brownish see-thru color with lots of foamy head, good lacing too. The aroma has raisins, brown sugar, malt, yeast, and mild hops. The appearance is hazy red brown with a medium-large head that is persistent. The flavor has raisins, lightly toasted malt, caramel, spices, and licorice. The palate is on the thin side. This is a good tasting beer that is just too weak.
