Murky light brown with a thick white head. Smells like banana, cinnamon, and yeast, very sweet smelling. A little carmel and molasses in the beginning turns to banana bread at the end.

Sep 5, 2008 bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a slightly off white head, not much lacing. Nose is somewhat subdued but hints of malt and bananna shine through. Taste is wheat malt but this bottle has a strong taste of oxidation, cardboard. Hopefully I can get a fresher bottle next time, if there is one.

Aug 31, 2008 500 mL bottle. Hazy rust-coloured beer. Crisp bubblegum-banana-clove aroma. It tastes like a weizen, but not so much like a dunkel. Sweet, wheaty, yeasty, well carbonated. Some spice and just a touch of chocolate at the end. Good, but could be a little meatier.

Aug 29, 2008 50 cl bottle. Hopheads´ tasting 22. august. Hazy amber/light brown color, off-white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is sweet and fruity, wheat and yeast.

Aug 28, 2008 Its a good German beer, its got some dark toasted malts, not too hoppy and it goes down real smooth. Weihenstephaner are winner and this one is no exception

Aug 26, 2008 fine aroma, pours dark with light brown head, flavor is very nice, lots of sweet flavors still the sweetness is under control. weihenstephan sure know how to do a weizen style brew.
