3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 03.09.2010
Aroma is slightly stale with some banana esthers, caramel and roasted notes. Flavour has banana esthers, some roasted malt and toffee. Typical and good dunkelweizen.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice! I found this one rather by accident, and it has a nice, sort of peach-ey aroma and flavor that complements the roast malts nicely. Very, very drinkable, easily a happily sessionable beer. Very nice. Would definitely consider again the next time I’m in the mood for bavarian dunkelweiss.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rather low on flavors, although showing some of the characteristic banana notes. Mid to aftertaste is a bit watery and somewhat disappointing.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
It has a deep hazy orange amber body with visible carbonation. A quick pour fills the glass with foam. After a minute to settle I very slowly finished pouring and ended up with a nice three finger head. The light beige head hangs on well and makes lots of cool lace patterns on the glass. Big German yeast notes rush up to fill my nose. The aroma is all about the classic banana notes with some mild clove and bready sweet malt. The best way to describe this beer is that is like banana bread with nuts and chocolate chips. The palate is a firm medium body with nice active carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Classic Bavarian Dunkelweizen with rocky, cream white head and warm golden brown colour, hazy as expected. Gentle, complex bouquet of pear, banana, plums, chocolate, bready yeast; velvety palate, soft and fruity, nutty and chocolatey malts, subtle and elegant wheat sourishness in the finish with a brief, mild hop accent. Exemplary.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is a swampy little hefeweissbier. Sweet but not too sweet. I don’t normally like banana bread, but this is what I wish it tasted like. Is there a better example of the style?

Aromes de pa i plàtan, també hi trobo pera, briox, sucre, llaminadura i acidesa. En boca destaca mes el malt que el llevat que es mostra amb un final especiat.

Bottle. Light tan. Big banana clove spice with rich malts, toast, wheat. Low carb. Sugary aftertaste. Decent, not my favorite.
