Forget your thirst. Our light yeast wheaten beer doesn’t give it a chance, and with 40 % lower alcohol and calorie levels than normal yeast wheaten beer. Brewed with fine yeast, easily digestible, tastes as good after sports as it does with fine food.
Note: The ABV went from 3.2% to 2.7%.

Bottle at M+J. Deep golden body with a frothy white head, impressive. Not really that worty, still sweet but with vanilla, yeast, and light citrus in addition to the firm bitterness. Fullish body, clean, a good one.

50 cl bottle @ Nurmo. Rated on 23.04.2011
Aroma has some wheat, cardboard and hints of banana. Flavour is rather flat with some wheat, citrus, cardboard notes and banana esters. Very watery palate, rather close to an alcohol-free Weissbier.

(bottle) pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of grass and moist earth, slightly phenolic, with notes of peaches and wheat. flavour is popcorn and earth, with a hint of caramel, quite thin. light-bodied with average carbonation and a semi-dry finish.

Pours hazy yellow with a high but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is pretty weak, mostly wheat. Flavor is wheat with some banana and lots of yeast. Tastes like normal Weihenstephaner that’s been diluted with water, except there’s even more yeast. Drinkable, but not great.

500ml bottle (K Market, Kamppi)
6 Slightly feeble aroma, but clearly a bready hefeweizen.
4 Hazy orange, tight white head, not as creamy as a good hefe can provide.
6 Again, all the features of a good hefe, lovely breadiness and a decent aromatic noble hoppy bite too.
3 Fairly watery, but refreshing and with enough fullness to not feel too thin. Pleasant carbonation. Finish is lovely and wheaty and bready, and those lovely aromatic noble hops continue too. But deep down, it’s a bit on the watery side.
11 At lunchtime, this is perfect. Of if I want to remain stone-cold sober all evening. But there’s a thinness that detracts, it doesn’t have that luscious fullness I want off a wheat beer.

Verdammt gut! Test vom 14.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,9,8,8,9 - 8,80
