COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Forget your thirst. Our light yeast wheaten beer doesn’t give it a chance, and with 40 % lower alcohol and calorie levels than normal yeast wheaten beer. Brewed with fine yeast, easily digestible, tastes as good after sports as it does with fine food.
Note: The ABV went from 3.2% to 2.7%.

500ml bottle (K Market, Kamppi)
6 Slightly feeble aroma, but clearly a bready hefeweizen.
4 Hazy orange, tight white head, not as creamy as a good hefe can provide.
6 Again, all the features of a good hefe, lovely breadiness and a decent aromatic noble hoppy bite too.
3 Fairly watery, but refreshing and with enough fullness to not feel too thin. Pleasant carbonation. Finish is lovely and wheaty and bready, and those lovely aromatic noble hops continue too. But deep down, it’s a bit on the watery side.
11 At lunchtime, this is perfect. Of if I want to remain stone-cold sober all evening. But there’s a thinness that detracts, it doesn’t have that luscious fullness I want off a wheat beer.

Verdammt gut! Miksu (5027) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - APR 27, 2011
0.5 l bottle from City-Market Keljo, Jyväskylä. Yellow golden color. The aroma and flavor is dry and spice dominated with clove, pepper and vanilla, grainy wheat is in background. Mouthfeel is light but sharply carbonated. Not a bad leichte weisse, but this clearly feels thin and lacking.

TET (2104) - FINLAND - FEB 19, 2011
Cloudy, light yellow beer with big and blond head; similar than normal Weihenstephaner hefe. Aroma is fresh, wheat, some sourness, bananas and hint of spicyness. Taste is wheatish, bananas, some sourness and some plastic in the aftertaste, overally taste is mild and short. Quite light body with high carbonation, still nice to drink. Basic, good hefe, the beer for thirsty body. But this is not even close with normal Weihenstephaner hefe, there are same element, but too they are too mild.

500 ml bottle @ home. Rated @ 5.8.2010.
Pours a hazy orange colour with a frothy white head. Wheat and banana on the aroma. Sweet aroma with the same elements. Also citrus and malts. Very light flavour. Light bodied, watery mouthfeel and low carbonation. Refreshing and easy to drink.

rmasa (324) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 27, 2010
Pours golden orange with a large white head; weak malty aroma is also a bit yeasty and quite bananish; flavor of malt, citrus and wheat - all of them in very little amounts, and then banana in very very little; finishes a bit sour, but on the other hand the malty notes also get stronger in the aftertaste; light body, carbonation from moderate to high. As this is still 3.2 abv, really nothing to go crazy about - in fact, I would probably go straight to the non-alcohol version

Bottle. Strong wort malt flavor with banana and clove notes. Hazy golden yellow color with minimal head. Sweet wheat malt and banana/clove flavor. Nice for a light Weizen - really like the malt flavor.
