0,5 l bottle from Ambrosetti, Berlin. Enjoyed at home. Clear, deep ruby colored body with a large, lasting, light brown, dense head. Good lacing. Rich, malty, wooden, pine-ish, boozy nose. Full bodied and a malty raisin sweetness. Well balanced bitterness. Refreshingly carbonated. Smooth to drink.

The beer is chestnut brown with a thin khaki hued collar. The aroma brings malt, yeast, light spice, brown bread. Rich and smooth with a mild sweetness. Hints of plums and raisins. A beautiful beer. Like every other Weihenstephaner brew I have tried, Korbinian delivers the goods. A great example of the style. A pleasure to sip and savor. I'll definitely be having this one again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer smells like a mash tun. Very malty and sweet. Pours almost black (slight brown hue) with white lacing head. Flavour is sweet with toasty notes ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slight coffee tones, lots of booze. Low carbonation with very syrupy consistency. Sweet aftertaste and malt in the aroma. Didn’t like this as some of the company’s other lines. Pours with no head, no lacing - dark syrupy black. Bottle at Taberna Lupulo

Bottle. Pours opaque deep cola brown with big light tan head and good lace. Nutty grainy malt characters over a light noble hop aroma. The malt character is up there with the best. We’ve got a complex slick medium body of nuts, chocolate, toffee and grain, milky creamy mouthfeel and a satisfying finish that lingers. Medium carbonation, clean profile. beautiful beer.

0.5L bottle. Dark cherry-cola color, clear, small persistent head, little lacing. Aroma is candies, malts, and sweetbreads. Mouthfeel is pleasant, full-bodied, and a little dry at the end. The taste is predominantly sweet, a little too sweet for me, but definitely drinkable. Evidently well-brewed - you might love it!

Poured from bottle, pours a very dark brown with a nice light brown head and no real lacing, aroma has a nice earthiness with a chocolate backing and malt, the flavor has a little bit of chocolate on the front end with a smooth finish, nothing crazy but is pretty solid.

Pours a large frothy light brown head that mostly diminishes. Body is flat black. Aroma contains hay, roasted and nutty malts, molasses, orange, lemon, leather, grape, raisin, cherry, cassis, ruby port, brown sugar, licorice, forest fruits and spices. Flavor starts off acidic, to go to sweet and very light bitter. Body isedium, with creamy texture and soft carbonation. Good and refreshing!
