COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A double bock beer that has what it takes. Not just for lovers of strong beer. With a malty aroma and great taste, our Korbinian is a true beer speciality. It goes well with smoked meat and fish as well as wild roasts and fowl.

Bottle poured. Pours a brownish red color with a foamy tan head. Sweet vanilla and cherry aroma with some malt. Flavor is very creamy, and a lot of malt up front. Finishes sweeter with some cherry and light vanilla. Great flavor. Nice balance. Great beer.

Poured from a pint bottle into a tumbler on 01.19.14. A: Black. Nearly opaque. Some lacing. S: Roasty banana bread. T: Lots of malt. Banana bread. Complex. M: Creamy. O: The roasty malt comes in sweet then a slight crusty banana bread takes over. The alcohol is completely hidden. This and Salvator are my favorite doppelbocks.

Pours dark brown with a bare hint of red. Bubbly with a massive foamy and noisy tan head. Aroma is sharp bready malts and yeast. Taste is very smooth - rich malts, darkfruits and baked bread. Very little hop bitterness but a touch in the aftertaste with some warming. Mild carbonation. Excellent and smooth dbock. Among the best of the style.

(bok) :)

Deep amber pour, thick tan head. Nose is malt and dark fruit. Sweet. Middle washes figs and caramel over the tongue with soft carbonation. Finish bitters somewhat, but sweet malt is still the signature. Very balanced for the ABV.

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear, deep amber with a creamy tan head. The aroma has rich, meaty ripe fruits, caramel, bread, fruitcake. Medium to big sweet flavor with liquefied fruits, rich bread, figs, dates. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish with doughy brown bread, toffee, creme caramel, fig. Tasty dop.
