Mar 3, 2004 A brown beer with a beutiful brown head. The aroma is lovely malty with a slight sweetness. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dry wood and roasted bread. A lovely beer.

Mahogany with brief beige head. Neutral nose. Sweet and malty with syrupy mouthfeel and loads of cramell and toffee in the finish. A solid and warming bock, but not one that offers that little extra.

Jul 17, 2005 Updated: Oct 14, 2005(Bottle 50 cl) The word "Bock" doesn’t appear anywhere on the label on this beer from the brewery said to be the oldest in the world - but clearly, that’s what it is. Dark and heavy with lots of malts and sweetness, and not really any bitterness. Pleasant and quite characteristic. 301003.
