A double bock beer that has what it takes. Not just for lovers of strong beer. With a malty aroma and great taste, our Korbinian is a true beer speciality. It goes well with smoked meat and fish as well as wild roasts and fowl.

Mostly black color, little bit red with nice beige head. Intense aroma of malts, bread, hint of toffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet and smooth, mixture of caramel, toffee, syrup. Nice roasted malts aftertaste with alcohol warm. Amazing beer, would recommend this to anyone! Everything in this is just pure gold

Beautiful dark brown-black color with amber highlight and a big beige head. Aroma is malty-bready, but with bitter chocolate and hints of coffee. The taste is an absolute surprise, with cherries and other fruits coming through, really more cherries than prune, bitter chocolate, nuts, pleasant complex finish. Low carbonation, full body, no booze. Enormously smooth-silky mouthfeel. I love Weihenstephan’s Weizen products and am not convinced by their Helles, so I was not sure what to expect, but damn, this is an excellent Doppelbock with a great balance and perfect drinkability. Korbinian absolutely plays in one league with Celebrator and Andechser.

Unsurprisingly excellent. Dark brown with foamy latte coloured head. Medium body. Prunes, dried fruit, tea and berries all in there, with a strong malt base.

As a lover of Belgian beer, as long as I enjoy a German with certain reservations, especially with a pint of beer that I find excessive. German styles this is one of my favorites and this beer is a fantastic example. A pleasure.

Ich hatte etwas mehr Hoffnung in den Korbinian gesetzt, der mit Weizen und etwas Rosinen glänzt. Ein bisschen muffig, etwas fruchtig, ganz ok.

A red so dark it’s almost black, with a fine tan head. Aromas of toasted caramel and prunes, with a touch of smoke. Rich-bodied and seriously roasty, dry-bitterness that almost but not quite balances the sweetness. Burnt toffee and a hint of gravy. Liquorice, toffee and a herbal bitterness in the finish.

Botella. Color rojizo muy oscuro. Aroma no muy destacado, predominando cereal tostado y pasas. En boca gran presencia de caramelo. Resulta muy cremosa con un final ligeramente amargo. Bastante equilibrada. El medio litro ha caído rápido...
