2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a pale gold with tiny fast-rising bubbles with a medium frothy white head, diminishes somewhat. Aroma is sweet wheat yeast (dough) and malt (straw, hay, grain) with notes of hops, bananas and spices. Wheat, dough and malt flavor, slightly acidic, some sweetness then slight sourness at the end. Light bodied, fizzy-foamy and slightly dry palate.

You want weissbier? This is it. Beautiful aroma and a flavor which makes you breath the smell of the German fields where the ingredients flourish...

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale gold and crystal clear with a foamy white head. Big fruity hop aroma heavy on the banana, as you’d expect. Light maltiness and more fruit coctail flavor featuring, what else, banana. The beer has a very long finish but is crisp and clean on the palate. It was the perfect beer for the record-breaking heat today.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at Whole Foods Market. Pours a clear pale gold color with a thin white head and fair lacing. Wheaty aroma along with a noticeable banana smell. Medium-bodied and smooth with flavors of wheat, banana and light spice. The finish is clean, wheaty and a little watery. Light spice and wheat aftertaste. Fairly enjoyable overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2006 Bottle 45F Weizen Glass. Very fruity aroma with good amounts of yeast. Very big citrus aroma, maybe a touch of soapiness. A wonderful light golden color with tons; and I mean tons of bubbles that rush towards to top at fantastic speeds it is nearly hynotizing. A great white head that is constantly replinished by the multitude of speedy bubbles. Flavor is of citus, and wonderful sour breads similar to blackforrest bread in its sourness, Great taste very fantastic, sweet and sour but finishes dry leaving you wanting more. Palate is smaller but with a huge amount of carbonation, this beer is still bubbling away. Easily quaffable, perfect for that worker who ends his day hot and thirsty. I can;t think of a cleaner or more refreshing taste, this is your hot weather beer. Ganz gut.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
16.9oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear light golden with a large white head. Aroma of metal, banana, powdered sugar and bubblegum, and dust. Taste is very metallic and dusty, getting a little in the way of the banana nad wheat, though not quite. Some lemon in there somewhere too. I didn’t figure the kristall would be better than the hefe, and was correct. Not bad, not terribly wonderful, either. A little too carbonated, light bodied, though not watery.
