The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

500 ml bottle. I just had to give this beer a 5 in appearance. Super crystal clear as I had expected. Lagre head that lasted for ever due to the constant stream of bubbles swirling around the glass on the way from the bottlom to the top. It was really fun just to watch this beer. Aromas were a little weak, yeasty and a little banana, but not as much as I expected. Flavor was better. Some bubblegum and more banana, funny that it tasted so much like a Hefe without looking like one. Pretty good actually.

Brilliant pale yellow, large head, good lace. Banana aroma, with a sweet bready element. Very carbonated (even toward the end), but also very flavourful-- bubbleggum, vanilla, banana, and sweet spices. Excellent.

Wheat aroma with banana notes. Similar to a standard weissbier. Light gold in body. azy with lots of bubbles. Good sized, white head that is mostly lasting. A little lace. Initial impresion is that there is quite a bit of flavor for a weissbier. Fairly well carbonated. Excellent. Served a little cold. Although this is only my 1st or 2nd Kristal, this is what I would imagine to be a very good example of the style and I see now that it has a 100 percentile for the style.

shared a bottle with illini08. great hefe aroma, unfortunately it was downhill from there. the usual clove, banana and bubblegum aroma but the filtering seems to have taken out some of the flavor along with the body.

500 mL bottle. Poured a very clear gold with a small white head. Tons of carbonation floating up the glass. Some of the bubblegum/banana aromas you would expect from a regular hefe, but its missing any malty or spicy aromas. Flavor is just the same. A decent wheat, but its missing some of the body and flavor of its unfiltered counterpart.

Poured a clear yellow with some lacing. Some spices are there with a tart hop finish. Good for a wheat beer, but no Hoegaarden.

Pours a nice golden yellow. Aromas of of citrus, fruit, and a little yeasty. Flavor is crips, almost pilsner like. A little hops at the end.

Bottle. Poured a gorgeous golden with a nice fizzy white head that mostly dissipated. Lemons, banana, and fruit at the nose. The flavor showed banana, earthy, and clove. Light body and dry texture. The more I had, the more that burning rubber got into my head for both the aroma and flavor. This kind of wrecked the drink for me because with every sip all I could think of is the smell of burning rubber.

poured a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is fruity with a yeast and wheat dominance. Flavor is very heavy on the wheat flavor with a yeast addition. Medium to light mouthfeel with good carbonation.

Thanks to Yogi_beera. I have now tried a kristalweizen. Mommy....why did they take the yeast out? This is just really not the same and nowhere near the level of their regular hefe. The same banana/fruit/wheat flavors, but much of the body and all of the doughiness and chewiness is gone. Alas. =(
