COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

Bottle at Andy’s. Poured a crystal clear yellow in color with a nice fluffy white head. Hoppy and malty aroma. Banana and clove notes. Spicey. Yeasty. Sweet. Malty and hoppy flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Spicey. Finish is smooth. Drinkable. Nice beer.

Clear pilsner-like straw body, very tall white head. Generous yeasty and fruity aroma. Tastes sweet and clean, some banana and clove, rather mild, nice finish. I prefer my hefeweizen unfiltered but this wasn’t bad.

jimmack (1223) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - JUL 15, 2005
Bottle. Clear golden color with a medium sized white head that quickly dissipated. Mild aroma of banana and clove. Flavor was the same as the aroma, but even more mild and a bit thin. Clean and refreshing, but boring.

Smells great - almost like belgian whites. If it weren’t for the appearance this beer would receive all top scores. Haven’t had this style before but it reminds me somewhat of belgian whites too. Surprising, yet gratifying.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2007 Aroma is mild, but I get a little banana bread. Very lively with a lot of gas release. Golden color. Huge head. More banana. Doughy. I don’t get much clove flavor.

Bottle, very pale clear yellow pour. Very large aroma of bananas and cloves. Flavor was the same, but a little thin compared to the aroma, and came across as a bit bland.

Pours a golden color. Aromatic notes of spiciness and banana. Tastes of banana, clove, yeast. Nicely carbonated it’s a decent brew but has a bit of a metallic aftertaste in it. I prefer Weihenstephaner’s hefeweiss over the kristal.

Bottle. Clear straw colored beer with a touch of gold. Big shite head. Some clove and spice aroma. Sweet flavor with spice and some fruitiness. Easy to drink. Light wheat bite. Crisp.

Clear pale gold. Good head. Reduced clove and esters than the regular. The body is very light and so is the flavor. Keep your filters away from my wheat beer dammit.

a sim rate: The aroma is very sweet. Banana-ey. It’s very smooth and there’s not much to the palate. The taste is banana as well, with almost bubble-gum undertones. Nice, smooth beer. Not just an ordinary lager.
