2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
50 cl bottle, from BevMo LaJolla. Pours clear light yellow with a large, fjluffy white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma, ripe summer fruits with hints of banana and floral hops noticible as well. Flavor is pretty good, but a little unbalanced to the floral hops for my taste, again fruity, a bit of spice from the yeast and a tart, slightly metallic hop finish. Light body and crisp carbonation. I have to say I prefer my weissbier unfiltered. Not bad, but lacking in the full character of a non-filtered weiss.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Pours a clear pale amber with a large, fluffy, but diminishing white head. The aroma is a bit indistinct, but some cloves and banana are present. The body is light with fairly powerful carbonation. The taste is hugely dominated by cloves, but has some a bit of fruit and bread. Crisp spiced banana finish.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This poured clear pale golden, with a collapsing white head. The aroma was yeasty. Has a nice mouthfeel and a crisp flavor of yeast, banana, and a bubblegum sweetness on the palate. Enjoyable, yet kristall weiss beers don’t have as many flavors as original weissbiers, which are cloudy. Maybe the filtering removes some of the other flavor aspects.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden body with a huge head and decent lacing. Aroma is bananas, bread, some clovey notes and a hint of grass. Flavor is like drinking a liquid banana. But with a well balanced beer in the background. Hella better than the Erdinger one I had a few days ago. Very enjoyable for what it is.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sparkling clear goden pour supporting a tall fluffy white head. Banana, clove, hops and summer garden aroma and a classic but toned down hefe flavor profile of the same (cloves, banana). Crisp hoppy finish. Good looking and refreshing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nose of wheat and bananas with a spicy note; slighty hazy-gold with a huge, long lasting white head; Flavor of wheat and bananas, with a spice note and a bit of hoppiness for the finish. A great summer beer when it’s 110 outside!

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
In Bottle while in Florida, last winter - pours very clear yellow. Almost flat. Probably good with a meal, as noted, but on it’s own, it’s no comparison to a nice Hefe or Dunkel Hefe.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear yellow, lots of carbonation, and a foamy white head. Lighter aroma of wheat, bananas, and bubblegum. A clean taste of banana, yeast, wheat, and some citrus. Dry finish. Very refreshing, light beer. Nice.
