The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

18 Nov 2004 - Nice fruit malt, slight earthiness and banana aroma. reasonable head, clear dark yellow with good suds lacing. Earthy banana flavour and some light spirit. Slight tangy finish but a bit thin.

When compared to the hefe this misses out somewhat. Perhaps the whole cloudy but fine nature of that beer is what we expect compared to the kristal . The same diacetyl is there with a hint of bubblegum but the mouthfeel and flavour are all a bit too offputting. too much fizz and afterburn to be an enjoyable beer. A shame as it comes from a very good stable of beers.

Fizzy head, dies quick. Very pale dark yellow, clear color. The aroma is amazing- creamy, bannana and cloves, with balanced bubblegum sweetness. Taste comes off very ciderlike, with lots of apples. Sweet. Finish is quite lacking in that it doesn’t really exist. Also quite watery. What a great aroma though.

This beer has a beautiful creamy white head with steadily ascending tiny bubbles. The whole activity is quite nice. Unfortunately the color is Budweiser yellow, kind of ruining the effect. It has a pronounced banana flavor and a crisp clean palate. It’s a fine German beer made to the original 1516 purity laws.

Reviewing as I drink it..... The appearance turns me off from the jump. Pale yellow color reminds me of mass produced domestics. Almost zero head. Aroma is citrusy with a lil bit o skunk. Tastes pretty good. Citrusy wheat flavor with some added spiciness to it. Still I’m just not completely satisfied with this beer. Way too fizzy.

Pours dark yellow with a small head. Taste is hard to isolate, but there’s definitely some fruitiness to this beer. Definite malt and some spices. Nice.

Aroma of bananas and deep spice. Prickly mouthfeel, champagne-like. Taste is usual, jungle fruit and heavy spice overtones. Somewhat watery middle.

Golden with a short lasting head, somehow doesn’t look as good when clear. Aromas are still the same old banana and spices with some Autumn fruit - pears and apples. Flavours are refreshing and dry with banana, cloves and some citrus. The carbonation somehow seems more pronounced in the kristal beers. Still a good summer drink.

Citrusaroma, almost honeyish, like clover honey. Slightly herbal bitter af first. After a while a slight estery fruitiness comes up. Certainly not bad, but the hefeweizen is better.
