COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

Bottle from Morrisons 12-05-06. Nice light golden colour very clear medium white frothy head. Wheaty in taste just a little bit of banana detected, but in truth didnít really grab me, I suppose it was reasonably refreshing but a bit too clinical for me.

From a 16.9oz. euro brown bottle with a freshness date on the bottom of the back label. Made a very good appearance, poured a clear pale golden with a large frothy, foamy white head that slowly settled into a thin foamy lacing, good carbonation. Had a cracker wheat malty and clove nose with whiffs of banana and fruit, pears and freshly sliced green apples. A crisp, carbonated smooth light bodied mouth feel, very good drinkability. Pear fruity and crackerish maltiness taste, crisp and sharp, followed by clove, light spice and subtle banana, a soft hoppiness towards the end and a dry, spicy wheat malty finish. An excellent Kristal Weizen from one of my favorite brewers, tasty and highly quaffable.

I guess Iím just not that into Kristalls. Whatís the point of brewing a wheat beer if youíre going to filter out all the good yeasty, banana and coriander flavors. I have no idea why these beers are brewed as theyíre like Kolschís with a twist of metallic flavor.

Pours very light clear bright yellow with a white head that doesnít stay around very long. Clean crisp wheat aroma with some spice and acidity - the elements of citrus, but somehow it seems to break the two elements up. From the looks of it I would have guess light bodied, but it is more medium. Carbonation is just right. Light syrup feel as well, but not cloying. Taste is crisp with smooth malt with a light amount of spice and possibly banana, then a bit of yeast with a hint of dough and finishes with a spritzy hoppy taste. One of the most refreshing beers Iíve had. Full of flavor, but very unobtrusive to the palate. This would be a great beer to have with food, especially lighter fare. Recommended beer.

The color was yellow and was real bubbly like most wheat beers. the aroma wasnt worth talking about. It seemed to have a slightly more bitter taste( not much ) and slightly more smooth. I think this is comparable to a paulaner hefe. I will buy this again.

Tasted 17/04/2006. 500ml bottle from Rumbleís, Wellington. Pours a pale-yellow gold with a solid pure-white head atop. Carbonation not as visible as I expected, loads of tiny bubbles but certainly not volcanic. Classic German weizen aroma of sweet bananas and wheat (expected spice didnít eventuate). Tart wheat with some background lolly-like malt in the mouth, up front. Fierce carbonation comes to the fore now, making the beerís aromatics and flavour explode in the mouth - much like creaming soda. More tartness and some clove in the dry finish. Lightweight without being watery thin. Powdery residue remains on the palate, yeast attributes lingering. Not one Iíd drink everyday but this is a good refreshing ale that is very well made.

Really cool, I loved it. Pours macro clear yellow, with a great head and the most amazing bubble trails rushing up and crashing into the bottom of the head. Aroma is hefe all the way, banan clove. Flavor is a bit weak, but still good. Banana, clove, bready and sweet.

Clear watery yellow with a white head, lager like. Aroma had some whaet and a hint of banana. Taste was wheaty with a little banana again and some pepper with a thin finish.

16.9 oz bottle - Pours crystal clear and golden with a moderate to large head that fades away after a few minutes. Very noticeable yeast and citrus aroma, flavor is lightly sweet with considerable citrus flavors. The palate is lively and a bit thin, but not terribly so for the style. The finish is light and refreshing. Itís really quite tastey.

The usual wheaty aromas and look. A good beer but nor the best weissbier Iíve had. Citrus with a clenan finish.
