COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

0,5 l bottle. Clear golden with a quite substantial white lasting head. Aroma of dough and banana. Malty flavour with distinct banana citrus note and clove. Lively, but not biting carbonation. Pleasant wet, very coating mouthfeel. Slightly bitter smooth finish. Refreshing. A very good beer.

Pour is mostly a clear lemon, almost artifical yellow, topped with two fingers of clean neat white head. Aroma is a rich with reserved wheat and light pine orange. Flavors are composed of wheat, a load of banana ice cream, and supple yeast. Sweetish and a little watery. Residue of sweet clean cane sugar and wheat. Very bready. Carbonation is average and lacing is decent. Nice qualities and well balanced, seems a little one dimenionsal. Decent summer beer. Thrist quenching for sure.

Bottle, Weihenstephaner Glass: Pours a clean golden hue with a large fuffy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of clove, lemongrass, banana, floral and aromatic esters. The yeast character is here just not as strong as the hefe, a rarity among Kristals. The taste starts with fruity and lightly acidic nature with the yeast dominate. Sublime spice oin the short finish. Not as lively nor has the depth of the hefe but still quite refreshing. Overall a solid bier and if I was to drink a filtered weizen, this most likely would be the one.
