4.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
I opened this bottle and the next thing i knew i was wearing the head. After the first drink i realized that this is a beer i won’t soon forget. It was much like the hefe, but so much lighter and crispy tasting. No evil aftertaste. I still was tasting a little clove in there. great kristall. I’ll be buying more of this for sure.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Straw-colored body with a thick white head. As would be expected, wheatiness dominates the palate but doesn’t overpower.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle poured a pale golden with a huge, foamy and fizzy white head which took awhile to reduce. Yeasty (sweaty) aroma was dry with a goodly amount of incense and low notes of banana. Aromas perfectly mimmicked in the flavor with a touch of malt and light acidity. Soft carbonation, dry in the mouth with a slightly chalky finish. I’m gaining a better appreciation of Weissbier and Kristallweizen is a nice diversion from the murky Hefes.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear pilsner-like straw body, very tall white head. Generous yeasty and fruity aroma. Tastes sweet and clean, some banana and clove, rather mild, nice finish. I prefer my hefeweizen unfiltered but this wasn’t bad.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear golden color with a medium sized white head that quickly dissipated.
Mild aroma of banana and clove. Flavor was the same as the aroma, but even more mild and a bit thin. Clean and refreshing, but boring.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells great - almost like belgian whites. If it weren’t for the appearance this beer would receive all top scores. Haven’t had this style before but it reminds me somewhat of belgian whites too. Surprising, yet gratifying.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 19, 2007 Aroma is mild, but I get a little banana bread. Very lively with a lot of gas release. Golden color. Huge head. More banana. Doughy. I don’t get much clove flavor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, very pale clear yellow pour. Very large aroma of bananas and cloves. Flavor was the same, but a little thin compared to the aroma, and came across as a bit bland.
