EIn simples Bierchen, das mir von A bis Z nach Vanille roch und schmeckte. Leicht erfrischend und etwas zu süß, aber irgendwie auch dünn und dumpf. Ich wollte es mögen, aber am Ende nur gehobener Durchschnitt.

Clear golden colour with steady head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of fresh and sparkling yeast, fresh malt, green grains and champagne. Very easy to drink and very refreshing.

Nice blond, somewhat whitecolored beer. Somewhat fruity and sweet aroma. Full taste of wheat, and no bitterness at all. The aftertaste is the same, but doesn’t last long. Mooi blond, ietwat witkleurig bier. Ietwat fruitig en zoetig aroma. Volle smaak van tarwe waar geen bitterheid in te bekennen is. De nasmaak is hetzelfde, maar blijft niet lang hangen.

16.9 oz bottle. Golden and clear with a white head. The aroma and flavor is bananas, yeast, spices, herbs and wheat malts. Light to medium body with a fluffy feel and nice carbonation.

Clear yellow, lively carbonation. Large fluffy white head. Light aroma, banana and clove. Crisp, light, muted hefe flavors. Nice lingering banana.

Sampler on tap at Central City. A blatant attempt by me to score another style category, but this was quite refreshing and enjoyable. Pours clear straw golden with a thin eggshell head that left behind some thick lace. Fairly complex nose involving soft, peppery clove notes, touches of citrus, and spicy noble hop notes. Fairly sweet with a decent balancing bitterness. Light and crisp with a medium length spicy finish. A nice easygoing brew and, to me, more enjoyable than a lot of hefes I’ve had. I’m not generally a supporter of filtering, but I liked the results here.

My first and only Kristallweizen to date, I have little with which to compare this beer, save for weizens of other styles. Pour is noteworthy for its very light gold color and large, bubbly white head. Nose is very typically wheat as is the flavor. A little spice lingers in the aftertaste but, otherwise, this is not terribly notable. Overall, a decent offering, but not one I’d likely seek out again.

Mar 2012 - tasty, complex, sweet aftertaste like the hefe but not as nice as the hefe, seems a little too carbonated which detracts from the flavour Aug 2012 - had a cold one, this one had a slight lager taste, but still a sweet taste and more rounded deep aftertaste, the coldness dulls the flavours, As it warmed up, flavours came out.

Bottle. Clear light golden, big, frothy white head. Sweet, muscat, candy aroma. Tastes sweet, a little metallic, a little like sweet white wine. Light body, a little sticky, long finish.
