The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

Weihenstephaner Kristall Weissbier is a solid wheat beer from Germany. Clear yellow pour with a thick frothy head with some wheat aroma. Taste has some banana notes and finishes clean. The clear version of a wheat might appeal to those that don’t like the thickness of the unfiltered Hefeweizens. Kristall Weiss fills the reputation as a classic German style well.

Bottle. Pours clear golden in color with a massive whitish head. Notes of wheat, banana and sweet fruityness in aroma. Banana and wheaty flour notes in taste, some fruitynes as well. Quite good actually, even if this one naturally lacks the final punch when the hefe is missing here. Refreshing though, even if this feels a bit monotonous in the end.

Clear straw with huge creamy/frothy white head and tiny sparkling. Medium strong aroma of wheat, sweetish-ripe fruity tone of banana, slight spicy undertone. Crisp, light bite, light body, medium long finish has same elements, sweet, clove, cinnamon and bubblegum like pointed out before. Very easy to drink and light and refreshing. Really hot day now and this works fine even with bbg going on.

500 ml bottle. Light yellow with large long lasting head. Flavor is of wheat, bananas and some malt. Refreshing, but tastes better with the yeast left in.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours golden yellow, very slight haze, medium white head which leaves some lace. Bread, banana and spices in the aroma. Tastes clean and crisp, some spice in the finish. Light body with hint of creaminess. Good, refreshing beer.

0,5 l bottle with a good looking redesigned label. Pale yellow golden in the glass, not really clear. High carbonated, for a Weizen, small white head. Banana and yeast on the nose. Tastes a little bit thinner than the standard Weizen, but even the typical banana, yeast and light sweet herb. Dusty end. Not bad for a Kristall Weizen.
