The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

(Bottle) Pale golden colour with frothy, lasting, white head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of bread, grass, citrus, banana, soap and a touch of coriander. Malty, spicy taste with bread, citrus, coriander, banana and a dry finish with low bitterness. Rather light body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but lacking some of the complexity of the hefeweizen. Quite nice.

Bottle to weiss glass. Crystal clear. Biting effervescence. Lots of banana and obviously thinner than a regular weiss.

Bottle @ home. Pale yellow golden in the glass, not really clear. High carbonated, for a Weizen, small white head. Banana and yeast on the nose. Tastes a little bit thinner than the standard Weizen, but even the typical banana, yeast and light sweet herb.

Backlog rating. Bottle at home from Ales by Mail. It pours a clean pale straw color with a large white head that sticks around. Aroma is yeasty, citrusy and grainy with notes of banana and bread dough. Taste is crispy and tangy, with notes of grains, hay, citrus, banana, yeast, spices. Finishes quite spicy and dry. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Lacks some character and body compared to the original version, but retains the highly drinkability and good part of the flavour.
