Weihenstephaner Kristall Weissbier is a crystal clear, very sparkling, light golden beer with a huge fluffy white head that has excellent retention and leaves excellent lacing. The aroma is of light grain, melon and banana bread. It is medium bodied, smooth and soft with a clean, wet finish. There are flavors of lemon, banana, muffins and nuts. It would make an excellent brunch beer!

Aug 19, 2008 16.9 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear gold with a large white head that is fed by a steady stream of tiny carbonation bubbles. The head lasts through two-thirds of the glass and leaves some patchy lace. Pleasant aroma of wheat and orange. The flavor is wheat with some mild orange, lemon and banana. A bit of sweetness in the flavor as well. Nice crisp finish. Very refreshing and enjoyable.

Aug 19, 2008 Bottle: Clear, pale golden, big, persistent white head; moderate clean wheaty-citrousy nose; sweetish-sourish flavour, fizzy and light bodied; sweetish-lemony finish with a little tartness coming late. Don’t like the style very much, but I like this example.........

Aug 10, 2008 clear golden with a head that is absolutely bonkers... gargantuan. Wheaty lighty citrusy with yeasty metallic notes to smell. A slightly watery body, yet has light spiced and clovey features which makes for a drinkable and quenching brew. Not expecting a lot of depth here, but surprised at the amount of substance. Still good for what it is.

Aug 8, 2008 (6/17/08) Bottle at Schwarzwaldstuben in Berlin. Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat, clove, banana and a bit of bubblegum notes. Sweetish flavor with some banana and some spiciness. Medium-bodied. Definitely good, but still not close to its unfiltered brother

Aug 8, 2008 On tap @ in de Wildeman. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of banana, wheat. Flavour is banana sweetness, wheat, some dough. Crisp finish, a little bitter even. Full mouthfeel, lots of carbonation. Very refreshing.
