A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Bottle, small creamy head, clear intense gold color, aroma of biscuit and light honey, biscuity flavor with some honey and an empathic medium bitterness, medium bodied. drinkable but just a little too sweet.

Pale golden with an average creamy and sticky head. Flavour is bready and grassy. Taste is medium sweet with a very light bitter finish. Average to low carbonation and oily to watery. Some say it is close to the original Helles but I found this one much blander, with much less hops. I would have to drink them side by side. Maybe because it was not as warm as when I drank the Helles. So I did not appreciate it in the same way. That pretty much sums up how able I am to rate a beer...Difficult not be biased by weather or mood or whatever.

Noble hops, clear lager smell in the nose. Clear golden with thick frothy head. Great lager, very smooth and balanced. People who rate this beer low don’t know what they talking about or just centered on hoppy ipas.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, malt, light spice. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2015 Bottle. Pours a yellow color with white head. Pizza crusty, bread, malty, sweet aromas. Sweet bread, malty, cornmeal, grain, slight herbal hop flavors. A more traditional wiesn type, rather than a marzen. Nice.

Tap at BBC Manchester. Light golden color decent off white head. Rich bready pilsner maltiness with hints of floral spicy hops and just a touch of green apple. Nice malty Marzen beer!

pours a clear straw gold with a medium white head. Aroma is hay and spice. Great taste. Full malt flavor with a little spice and hop kick. Mildly sweet with a slight bitter linger. Clean, delicious, and refreshing!

330cl bottle. Appearance: Crystal clear yellow with a light white foam head. Aroma: Bready malt with a strong floral, spicy hop aroma. Taste: Light, bready malt with a spicy, moderate bitterness. Very similar to a Helles, maybe slightly more on the bitter side. Mouthfeel: Light body with a brisk carbonation. Hint of alcohol warmth in the finish. Finish: Bready, spicy hop flavors linger after the swallow. Overall: Very similar overall to the Weihenstephaner Original Helles. Bitterness is slightly more pronounced and there is a touch of alcohol warmth not found in the Original.

On tap at Brewhouse Gallery. Served in a pint glass. Paler than I expected. Clear golden, like a pilsner. Smells like pilsner malt too. Light breadiness. Taste is sweet and fruity. Bread is secondary and only comes through in the back end. Medium light. Medium carbonation. Not really what I was expecting, but ok.
