Blonde claire, vêtue d’un mince col, sans réelle effervescence. Le nez est éteint. J’hallucine un peu de fumée, mais c’est probablement l’hiver et ses cheminées. En bouche, well... as expected. Ce produit n’est pas à la hauteur de la maison. Leur Hefeweissbier sans alcool a de quoi surprendre, mais celle-ci manque de classe. Jus de drèche.

Draught @ a Greek restaurant in Hamburg. Pours clear golden with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, malt and unfermented grain. Sweetish, estery flavour with notes of raw malt and sourish, bready touches. Sweetish aftertaste. Not bad for a Low Alc, but I have tasted better beers of this style, too.

pours clear extra pale yellow with a small creamy white head, good retention and nice lacing. crackery and peppery maltiness, lightly oxidized grassy-herbal hops, light fruity notes - pears perhaps, hint of acidulated malts and cardboard, clean yeast - no off esters, calcium and other minerals. light carbonation, light body - watery, dry peppery-grassy finish. almost better than its alcoholized version, once past oxidized notes.

Bottle from Dan Murphy’s 011114. As far as alcohol free beers go this one is not too bad. Puffy clean white head, pale coloured beer and strong straw aroma.

When I first realized I was an alcoholic, I tried tricking myself by drinking the available near beers in my area. This is one that I bought a lot of and from time to time I still do buy it. Mostly I have it in bottle form purchased at Denningers. Its slightly hazed gold with a loud and shot lived fizzy white head. Its quite vegetal in the nose and also has some grassy and hay notes. Not really that bitter, a bit of pale malt sweetness arises to match up. Its pretty thin with a quick bitter finish.

Shared a 50cl bottle from Ruppert (Luxembourg). Brought by mistake. Hay colour, hay taste. Overall, hay.

Bottle from a gourmet supermarket. Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma of hay and some noble hops. Watery "lager" taste, with a fairly bitter bite. Very thin body. Drinkable, for a beer with no alcohol anyway.

Head: white, medium, frothy, poor retention. Colour: pale yellow. Aroma: very grainy, like unfermented wort. Taste: grainy, slightly sour with a barely bitter finish.

Poured clear yellow with big white head that went elsewhere quick. Aroma of grain, cardboard, and unripe fruit. Very weak flavour, liken to mineral water with a very slight hint of corn. Incredibly weak bodied, very thin and watery texture, with lively carbonation. Overall, good that a low/no alcohol option is offerred, but not overly enjoyable. My wife did enjoy however.
