A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of corn, grass, vanilla, hints of honey, yeast in there into a bit of grainy notes. Taste is a mix of grass, corn, vanilla, hints of yeast, slight earth, finishing slightly yeast, slightly dry.

Bottle: Pours a golden yellow color with high fine white head having a moderate persistence. Aroma of raw grain, soft grassy, flowery hop scents. Taste is grainy sweet with clean hop bittering finish. There is a mild fruity, biscuity flavor towards the end. A little high in the carbonation, making it seem light-bodied. Clean dry finish.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have yeasty bread, cookie like sweet malts, hay pale wheat malts with mild bitterness to the finish. I didn’t find much character to this one.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2014 Bottled, 500ml at Restaurant Rattstube, Rudenheim am Rhein, Hesse. Gold with white head. This was a smoother beer than I had been having recently, dryish although a honeyed sweetness was also aparent. Biscuit notes in the finish. Reasonable.

Bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow color with a small head that quickly fades to a thin ring. Aromas are pilsner malt, hay, grass, and very light skunk. Tastes slightly sweet with a nice spicy, bitter hop bite in the finish. Just a clean pilsner, not much complexity, very easy to drink. Drinking these kind of beers always makes me wonder how different they would be on tap in Germany.

Yeasty smell. Clear, pale yellow color. Pretty decent head. Teary taste, not much complexity. Smooth mouth feel, not much aftertaste. Overall a decent offering from a great brewery.

Pours a pale yellow color with small white head. Little bit of skunky aroma and lacing as well. Taste is very mild, with a little bit of sweetness, and a bitter aftertaste that lingers in your mouth. Nothing special in terms of flavor, but it is a pretty refreshing, and very drinkable beer.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a long lasting, large white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hops. Flavour is mildly sweet caramel with a mild malt and hop finish. Refreshing.

Pale yellow colour, 1 finger white head. Aroma of malts, hay. Taste is light to medium sweet, almost no bitterness. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation. Quite nice and drinkable.
