COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Draft @ Taco Mac Kennesaw. Overall impression was good for an easy drinking lager, but the weakest of the Weihenstephaner lineup that I’ve had. Pours as crystal clear golden color with with short lasting head. Smell is light grassy, grains and very mild hop aroma. Taste is much the same with straw as well. Decent session lager.

(Draught at Weihenstephaner am Hackeschen Markt, Berlin, 24 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grass, hay, cereal and a touch of vanilla. Malty taste with bread, grass, hay, hints of tropical fruit and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a light sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but doesn’t really stand out. Quite enjoyable.

Beautiful light gold pour in a large mug with a full white fluffed head. Aroma is malted and lightly sweetened. Mild citrus from hops. Flavor is malted and super smooth. Easy drinking for a pale lager all the way through.

I’ve been looking for a really great lager beer and this is it. Some of the other imports are good, but this one is the best.

Very pale, almost white yellow. Savory wheat, some spice, vague hint of fruit. Very clean flavor. Delicious.

Tap at the brewery. From old notes. Medium bodied, malty beer. Not very special, mild and lacking in hops compared to the pils, but good.

One of the world’s classic beers. I love the natural smell and flavor that you get with German beer, and this is a great example. It smells like a brewhouse floor. In a good way. Straw, malt, pale yellow color. A truly great Helles.

Bright pearl white head. Straw yellow golden clear beer. Crocheted lacings. Aroma; fresh citrus, caramel malts, lemon, bread, grass. Taste; citric hops, bread, malts, grass, lemon, caramel, dough. Fresh clean natural on palate. Clean lemon-bread’ish finish. Good brew. [50cl. brown btl. 5.1%abv. BB05.03.15 B@Harrislee Flensburg DE]

Malty and slightly sour Helles that is a little on the light side. Slightly watery but with a pleasantly bitter finish.
