COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A good beer takes its time. The long storage makes our yellow bright lager, “Original”, a flavourful beer enjoyed with fine poured, white foam. With a mild hoppy note and its pleasant fresh spicy taste, it goes very well with salads, poultry, stews or with a hearty snack. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Formerly known as "Weihenstephaner Original Bayrisch Mild (Premium)".

Pours a light golden color with an inch of fizzy head. Coriander, spice, banana and clove smells. Fizzy and uneventful flavor with a mild finish.

Clear as day. Super smooth and easy to drink. Good balance between sweet and bitter.

The beer pours a very clear straw color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma is quite skunky, but there is some clean Pils malt hovering underneath the skunk. The taste is slightly sweet and a touch bitter with a nearly non-existent aftertaste. The palate fuses a medium-light body, soft carbonation, and a thin and slick texture.

Among better Helles. Very bright and superb colour, almost fluorescent green yellow. Clean and mild, medium sweetness. Easy drinking, taste and aroma typical.

Le corps in peu mince. La gazéification est douce mais sentie. Se boit bien. Rafraichissante.

Pours a fairly clear pale sraw color, topped with a medium sized and semi-lasting white head. Sweet malty aroma with pretty heavy grassy notes. Works very nice. Body is a bit flat, sweet with mild grassy feel. Mild bitterness in the finish. A decent one.

300 ml. bottle from Cost Plus. Sweet, bready malt opening. Honey-like sweetness yet finishes dry. Sufficient bitterness to balance, but not much hop flavor. Silky smooth mouth feel without being heavy. Medium-high carbonation. Clean with some lingering pilsner malt character remaining on the palate. Light, refreshing and pleasant. A classic lager.

500ml bottle (Alko?, Helsinki?)
Pale gold, brief tight head. Rabit hutchy aroma, but some corny aspects too. Starchier taste, orangy lemonadey hops. Thin palate, but fitting carbonation. Pretty boring lager, trying to be hoppy, but a bit thin and extractly. This besmirches Weihenstephaner’s name. Love the weizens, why do they make this nonsense. Not bad, but not worthy of a great Bavarian brewery.

500ml bottle (Alko Arcadia, Helsinki)
Massive weetabixy aroma, gentle hops. Soft palate, pleasant carbonation. Taste pleasantly malty, and nice noble hops. Very pleasant fresh crisp lager taste, refreshing. Noble hops very nice, but they do get a little papery and metallic after a while. Very nice and hoppy lager. Nice long finish.

0,50 bottle purchased in Belgrade-Serbia at the Beerville store. Ciao Vlada! Pours a filtered yellow bright color, medium white foam. Nose: very mild malty notes, almost hidden, some cornish feel, lager all the way. Mouth: a bit better, malty with a pleasant aftertaste of bread. Far too easy - drinking and not that farmhouse orientation although it stays a good helles for solid drinking sessions. Hidden herbal final if you try to spot it. Ok
