3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear pale straw color. Skunky green bottle aroma. Sips light to medium. More body than most pale lagers. Crisp and slightly dry, reminds me more of a pilsner than a pale lager. Excellent example of the style!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Brilliant pale yellow piled with a bleached white foam. Fragrant lemon and honey, grass, sap and flowering shrub aroma. Soft condition flattening fast; delicate lemony and grassy hop arriving on a pillow of sweet lingering malt like cashew and caramel-coated popcorn. Pretty much perfect lager and a beautifully soft, nuanced beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 ml. bottle. Pours a medium well retained, white head, with some lacing, over a clear dark yellow (SRM 4) body....nose is Pils malts, hints of light florality, hints of grass.....taste is mild Pils, hints light floral tones, mild dry finishing bitterness.....mouth feel clean, crisp, carbonation makes a light acid finish. This meets the style quite nicely, with gentle aromas and flavors, making for a very light refreshing, simple beer. To style BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear, bright straw yellow color with a two-inch creamy head and lasting lace, nose exhibits freshly-baked lemon cookie, solid malt-forward middle palate, finishing with a clean, malty note. "Helles means "bright" in German and this is an excellent example of the style.
