| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Poured into a seidel. Typical pale gold color with a nice crest of white foam that leaves chunks of lacing everywhere. Aromas of Munich and pils malt, with only the slightest hoppy lemon twinge. Flavors of lightly toasted bread, honey sweetness, soft tart lemon, a touch of grass, and a fleetingly metallic finish. Mouthfeel is standard Weihenstephaner perfection. Soft and crisp with no wateriness regardless of the light body. An excellent example of the style. kiefdog (1586), Tampa, Florida, USA
