Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, tupalev & jerc -- courtesy of GregClow. Pours a clear pale gold with a spare diminishing fluffy white head, Aroma of toasted caramel, bread and grain. Flavour of slightly burnt caramel, bready malt and grassy hops. Light to medium bodied. Another winner from the brewery, I’ve never had a bad or boring beer from them.

Bottle shared with Greg Clow, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Jerc, courtesy of Greg. Light yellow, small frothy white head. Slightly funky, grainy aroma. Nice taste - full flavoured, almost sweet, some hops, very refreshing. Another good one from these guys.

2008-06-11. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Sweet floral hops, light grass. Similar noble hop in the flavour, grass and straw over a pale malt base. (6+) Pretty decent example of the style, but not to my taste. Bottle shared by GregClow<P>"Everyone wants to play as one-eyed Paul..."   - Tupalev

From 0.5L bottle purchased locally. Aroma is grainy and a slight hint of floral, spicy hops. Color is a straw yellow that is crystal clear with a half inch fluffy white head. Flavor is malty, bready and delicate. A little bitterness, but only to balance. Light, refreshing, smooth and a clean, dry finish. A classic of the Helles style.

Bottle. Poured a brilliant straw color. Nice fluffy white head that dissipated rather quickly. Clean aroma of malt. Clean, crisp malt flavor with just enough hop bitterness to balance things out. A good clean German lager suitable for everyday drinking.
