Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Not an overly interesting beer. A distinctive german taste but many better. Would not purchase again.

500ml bottle, BB 12.09.08, served chilled. Clean pale gold body, fluffy white head. Not much to the nose, some cereal malt and light herbaceous hops. Reasonably low carbonation, particularly for a lager, decent body with a firm malt texture. Body has quite a good malt sweetness, honey, slightly biscuity, balanced by a leafy hop bitterness, finishing abruptly and bone dry. Quite non-offensive, one of the better German Helles i’ve tried.

smells funky, has a cloudy piss yellow color and a big fuzzy white head. the flavor is very mild, kinda taste like the way hay or straw smells. This isn’t bad but i was hoping for more

This beer has been around since 1040? Yikes. Poured a light golden-copper straw body with a medium white head. Crisp lager earthiness. Super sessionable.

Pours a clear light gold or yellow color with a thick fluffy white head which settles down but I still get some nice lacing. Aroma is malty with a lot of fresh cut grass. The beer tastes OK, there’s nothing foul about it, but I wouldn’t call it good either. A mix of grassy semi-sweet malts and hops and the beer finishes a little sour and dry. I’m sure I’ll have a beer from this brewer again but it’ll be their hefe I buy, probably not this one.

Pours a clear golden colour with a large fluffy quite malted aromatic head. The head was a tad weak and besides the aroma, which can be a little misleading, it didn’t have a lot too offer. Mouthfeel is nice and carbonated, but flavor is somewhat bland.

500ml bottle. Poured straw yellow with a white head. Light fizzy mouthfeel, clean and refreshing. Definitely not bursting with flavor, but there is some corn malt, and floral notes. Smelled like any other pale lager, but a bit stronger. Okay beer.
