Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Aug. 30, 2009; 12 oz. bottle. Bottle indicates this is a malt liquor. Whatever this brew is, it’s pale-lager yellow, but well-balanced with malts the color did not suggest. Enjoyable, and far better than the usual macro-brew suspects, but not quite able to crawl up to the craft-beer deck.

A nice clean brew from Weihenstephaner, but honestly, they have some much better brews.

This is a crisp, refreshing, clean brew. Nice sudsy head...good malt balance. Genrealyl low hop profile, but solid in it’s presentation. Flavour has some hay, banana, and a slight spice bite in the finish. Not realyl a beer that stand up to critical analyzation; but rather, a well made beer that goes down ridiculously smooth on a hot afternoon.

Light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is wheaty. Flavor is slightly hoppy and refreshing.

Light clear gold, very ’typical’ lager aroma. Chlorine and green apple. Finishes clean enough eventually but not really tasty for me and there’s no redeeming flavors

330 ML Bottle in the USA. A good Helles. Too bad it can’t follow the Weihenstephens in their greatness. Still a good solid Hells from Bavaria. One of the better Helles however.

Nothing special, but that’s precisely why this is an enjoyable beer. This is a beer to just be enjoyed on a summer eve instead of trying to analyze every single added spice, berry, and other ingredient. Classic for a reason; not great but certainly reliable and good enough.

Light golden color. Smells of malts, floral, and bananas. Taste is of malts, with a little citrus. Has a bite in the end.
