Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

This beer pours a clear dull yellow with a mediujm white head. The aroma is skunky as is the flavor. Reminds me of a bad pilsner. While this is somewhat drinkable. I don’t think I’ll get this one ever again!

Aroma is a very light malt scent that seems to have a slight vanilla scent with a skunk back tone. Color is light gold with a fine sediment floating in it. Carbonation is good with a tall loose head that looks a bit fluffy. Taste is crisp and bitter. It starts with a bold yet light body that goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes in with a light sweet malt flavor that carries the vanilla found in the scent, then a faint spicy hop flavor and ends with a full bitterness. This is a nice brew and would be a good choice on a summer day.

Nice clean grain and hop aroma. The finish is a nice dry hop with hints of yellow fruit.

500mL bottle. Clear orange with little particles floating around. Aroma is nothing really - maybe similar to other dortmunder/helles (like victory V lager). The taste is pretty solid. Easy to drink.

Aroma was of bananas. So easy to drink i could suck on thee bitties al afternoon. Although it is my lowest rated Weihenstephaner so far, its just because of the style of beer/.

Nose of honey, corn, fresh hay Golden bright, good carbonation and retention. Very refreshing, crisp, not so hoppy, delicate bitterness. Sharp finish, a little salty, well controlled. A must for a summer day. Very satisfying. Not so complex, yet classic and elegant.

Had this at a German restaurant. Really tasted great with the food. Has a very yeasty aftertaste, clear golden color, very little fizzy white head. A pretty good beer.
