A sweet aroma with some citrus, grass, and some honey. A light body brings along a taste of a little blandness with a dry grassy taste. Not a bad brew but others from the German breweries have more there. gam (1092), brisbane, Australia

Aroma is of sweet bready malts. Flavor is also sweet bready malts but with a nice slight hop finish that is very crisp. Very nice easy drinker. I love helles and exports and this is a great example. There is sugar cookies in the nose, along with honey. I actually like this beer a lot, and beet that it would be great in warm weather (we aren’t in Panama now, too bad). Aroma is total fresh, as is the flavor. Like a cold herbal tea. MUCH BETTER than Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold....sorry...my favorite German beer. Pretty awesome beer for what it is. Not every beer needs to have 100 IBUs. ratman197 (3185), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of honey, straw and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light straw and a hint of citrus with a crisp watery finish. Not what I expect from Weihenstephaner.
