Pours almost clear like, white fluffy sudz head. Taste like a mouthful of hay and grass. Not much else really. refreshing indeed and nothing offputting about it.

12oz bottle ink jet on back label: 0105-pours a big foamy white head with yellow color. Aroma is grass with that funky to it, musty grain. Taste follows, creamy.

A pretty decent beer. I wasn’t really in the mood for a hefeweiss, so I bought this one because of the brewery. Pours pale yellow, nice body, aroma has a bite, as does the taste. Overall a good regular beer. It went over well at the party I brought it to.

Clear pale yellow. Well carbonated, flavorful, and has a nice bite. Had a few of these with a plate of Yaegerschnitel and spatzel. Perfect beer for any German style cuisine.

On tap at the Hessen Haus during the 2006 Crescent Moon Beer Bus Trip. Spaten is smoother and tastier on tap. Flora aroma. True lager appearance. Palate is a tad harsh. How is it possible that this beer tastes of corn?

Light golden yellow with quite a strong head. Distinctive wheaty aroma matches the slightly spicy wheaty taste with a smooth rounded finish.

(bottle) Pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head, quickly diminishing but leaving some lace. Freshly poured into the glass it has a dusty, gun-powder nose, later light sweet malty aroma with cake dough and a touch of floral hops. Sweet malty honeyish fruity taste, medium to light bodied, crispy mouthfeel, almost dry bitter fruity finish. Tasty and refreshing.
