Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Bottle: Pale golden; thin white, quickly diminishing white head; grainy, dusty nose, traces of dough and caramel and a tinge of citrusy fruitiness; quite crisp, slightly sweetish flavour with a touch of bitterness; short grainy, citrusy finish with some hoppy traces. A pleasant, decent Helles, above the average...........

Pours a light blonde with a wuickly dissipating white head. Aroma is of honey soaked malts but no hops. Body is light with a rather low amount of CO2. Flavor is rather one dimensional in the sweet malt but this is an all malt beer and it shows in the characterful sweetness of the malts. Very clean and mild bitterness. One major Kudo for this beer: absolutely no off-flavors to speak of. A rather bland but quaffable beer.

Pours blond with a frothy white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some alcohol notes. Rather carbonated and slightly bitter, watery texture with a mildly malt bite. Nothing special my explanation would be refreshingly unimpressive. A very average beer

50 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Yellow clear colour with a nice lace head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Very dull flavour and crisp finish, some speciel flavour at all.

(Bottled, bought at the Brewery pub) A boring beer, with very little taste at all. I don’t know why they bother to brew this when they have other splendid beers!

I don’t know why this beer gets so low reviews. It’s a good lager - full of flavor, good mouth-feel, and smooth finish. Has an unfiltered hazy golden appearance with a fairly large head. Sweet malty aroma with some floral hops. Malt flavor tastes like there is honey mixed in with the beer. Also has a nice crisp hops flavor of citrus.

Pretty typical of average-good German beers. A little too light in flavor and body for my personal taste, but it’s refreshing in an American lager way, and at least better than that.

Bottle. Sweet corn/barley aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet stale barley flavor - slight bitterness in finish. An okay beer but nowhere near the quality of their Hefe.
