(called Original Premium) pour deep golden for a lager. sweet flavor is the first note to hit the palate followed by a strong bitter aftertaste. no head, or maybe i poured poorly. very refreshing. in 2035 wiehenstephaner will be 1000 years old. party in munich

(Bottle, called "Weihenstephaner Original Lager") Foamy white head on yellow body. Pretty cloudy. Some lacing. Aroma honey, malt, sweetness. Mouthfeel watery but fairly smooth. Body weak. Faint sweet malty taste, very faint smokiness, not much else.

Sweet malty aroma. Malty flavor with just a hint of a hop bite. Good beer to enjoy anytime. I have become an instant fan of this brewery. I must try more from them :-)

Pour is a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty with a slight hop. Flavor is a sweet, almost honey malt. Finished bitter and smooth. I have seen some bad ratings for this brew but i found it quite tasty and refreshing.

Poured from a 500 mL bottle. A typical German skunk beer. Poured a clear golden color with a decent amount of carbonation. Medium head dissipated quickly. Was thin in the mouth and was slightly bitter. Overall I was disappointed with this beer. It isn’t one of the better ones coming out of Bavaria.

This is a classic example of the Munich Helles. Had a slight DMS issue in the aroma with a wea head. Light golden color with light carboination. Has a nice swwet flavor and was very clean and crisp. A good medium feel along with a smooth mouthfeel. This was a good beer brewed to style but there wheree too many flaws to get a good score. I am hoping it was an old bottle.

Light gold beer with a white nice head. Aroma is of light malt with some grassy hopps noticable. Flavor is is sl sweet, decent backbone aand a nice bitter grassy finish. Detraction for a metalic taste and a hint of mecicinal flavor notes.
