ivan9856 (128), Arlington, Virginia, USA Sep 3, 2005 The 12 oz. bottle pours a crystal clear, light gold body and with average white head that left good lacing. Aroma is light malt and grass. Pale malt palate entry and good hop balance. Crisp and refreshing. Short finish with some alcohol taste. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia Jul 21, 2005 Pours clear and golden with a bubbly white head. Yeasty grassy aroma. nothing special about the beer, pale malt and grassy hops, fairly well balanced, very crisp and clean finish. redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA Jul 15, 2005 Not much of an aroma, very clean. Golden blond color. Nice and crisp reminds me of Bavik. Maybe a little fruit upfront but very clean and crisp. Refreshing good beer for the Florida summer thats so hot right now! Bottles at Redlight Redlight bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Jul 11, 2005 Bottle. Pale straw colored beer with a quickly disapearing white head. Faint grassy aroma. Very light body. If you’re kind, it has a bit of a citrusy, grassy flavor. Hot weather beer? definately. Likerighteous (120), Pflugerville, Texas, USA Jun 26, 2005 Bottle. Poured slightly hazy bright golden with small head. Aroma was faint malt and alphalfa. Funny how sometimes the first sip of a beer can transport me back to sneaking sips off my old man’s beers when I was ten. It doesn’t happen very often (maybe once a year) and it usually happens with a very cold malt liquor. This one did that. Swillable, yes. But for the price, I’ll take a Schlitz. Tmoney99 (4656), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 20, 2005 Bottle. Golden color with medium white head. Malty aroma with a citrus tone. Good refreshing brew. Juelze (889), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2005 Pours a hazy yellowish color. Smells of malt and yeast with a bit of citrus and grass taste. Pretty easy drinking. Slight bitterness in the finish. ashbeero (51), Perth, Australia Jun 15, 2005 Great light golden beer with an average bright white head. Aroma of light malts and some hop characters. Some weka citrus notes on the nose also. Flavour comprised mostly of pale malts and slight grassy hops. Fairly weak bitterness, but true to style for a helles. A very well rounded beer, Best light lager i have ever tasted.
