Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

For it’s style I cannot fault this. Tasted from the bottle this was part of my ’New Year’s Eve German Bier fest’ (very low key). Tasted from the bottle, it poured a golden straw with a loose fluffy white head that grew in the stein and later laced down to the finish. Aroma of malt, sunflower seeds, grass and lemons, mingled in the nose, very balanced. Very clean, as though the liquor were the purest on Earth. Effervescent , but lightly carbonated, like it had been stored for years. Medium bodied, not cloying, and rounded flavours in the mouth. Citrusy, grapefruit and lemons, mixed with malt sweetness in the front and a long zesty aftertaste. Not a demanding beer, but one you could sit on all day, with or without food.

I thought this was skunked at first but it seemed to blow off after a while. Crytsel clear medium gold in the glass. Malty nose shows good balance - not too sweet. Malt is more overt in the mouth, very smooth, not too fizzy and never gets too sweet. Pretty good and is well brewed but just doesn’t excite (note TN’s below). Would work well as a session type.

yellow to gold, white head, a bit of hops aroma, smooth and mild in every way; strikes me as simple.

Golden amber with a full, creamy white head. Nose is sweet, malty, notes of hops and fruit. Lively carbonation but watery and medium bodied. The flavor was somewhat sweet and malty but there was nothing noteworthy about this beer.

Clear apple juice body with large white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apple, cookie dough, light tinny. Taste is medium sweet, apple, cookie dough, light grassy/herbal. Watery light body, light carbonation. Nothing special about this one.

Good clear gold color, white head. Not the best, but hey, these folks make some of the best wheat beers in Germany that are widely available in the U.S. Decent, but there are better Dortmunder/Helles if that’s what you’re looking for.

Pours a clear golden color. Aroma is a little grainy and a little watery. Flavor is grainy and seems to be quite bitter. Not that good of a brew. Drinkable but I think a cheap lager would do in place of this stuff.
