Bottle. Poured yellow gold with medium white head. Light lacing. Malty aroma with an unpleasant mediciney tinge. Malty flavour with a slight hop edge and more mediciney-ness. Light and bland finish. The mediciney ting was not enough to spoil the beer, but kept me from rating it higher.

Odd "wet dog" smell. Pours clear golden liquid with small quickly receding white head. Mouthfeel is good, medium to full. Carbonation is nice. Flavor thin grass notes, citrus, a bit of bitterness, all quickly receding. No lingering flavor to savor. All in all a decent beer, but still with a disturbing aroma.

Bottled (Beerangel, BB 01/2010). Golden color, small steady white head. Aroma of lemon, grass, straw, honey and cardboard. Medium-bodied. Sweetish malty backbone. Herbal vibe in grassy hops. Very clean and smooth. Not exiciting but as always, Weihenstephaner excels in German beer styles.

Bottle from Total Wine. Yellowish pour, decent white head. Aroma is full of yeast, bread, some light fruit notes and maybe a slight hint of hops. Flavor is malty and yeasty with a sweet initial flavor and finishes clean and lightly bitter. Not bad, not amazing.

Pours hazy straw color with thin off white head that doesn’t last. Fruity aroma with some bready malts. Sweet fruit and yeast flavors. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Not bad.

500ml bottle. A very nice traditional German lager. A very malty beer with slight citrus undertones, not a lot of hops. Extremely drinkable and very refreshing. A great summer beer for those insufferably hot days of grilling bratwurst, hamburgers, and steaks.

Bottle. A slightly pale yellow with a small white head that laces a touch. Aroma is sweet and malty with a citric bitter edge to it. Slightly high carbonation. Sweet and slightly herbal flavor. Nice.
