Also very light as far as flavor goes. Light bodied. Vigorous carbonation. Slightly hoppy finish. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2003 My first Weihenstephaner beer. Came in a tall, 16 oz. brown bottle. Poured out the color of fresh hay, a very light golden color. Has a fast fading head that left a ring of fine, misty bubbles around the rim of the glass. This is the lightest colored beer I've ever seen. Aromas mostly of fresh hay, with some grassy notes as well. Hersbrucker hops come to the forefront of the aromas as you drink it. Very crisp & refreshing on the palate. I imagine it would go great with some knockwurst, and German Chocolate Cake. A really well made, well balanced beer. Finishes very smoothly. I really like this beer, you might too. ben4321 (1061), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Nice simple flavor, with enough taste to be more then drinkable, but not enough character to be any better then that

Crytsel clear medium gold in the glass. Malty nose shows good balance - not too sweet. Malt is more overt in the mouth, very smooth, not too fizzy and never gets too sweet. Pretty good and is well brewed but just doesn’t excite (note TN’s below). Would work well as a session type. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 18, 2007 Rated 4/28/06: Pour is a pale straw yellow with a tiny film on top and little to no lacing. Aroma is weak and a bit grassy. Mouthfeel is thin and sticky. Flavor is average at best but leaning more towards bland. Overall this beer is a major bummer considering their wheat beers are much better than this offering. Next time I will pass. Ron (1040), Rochester, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Golden in color with almost no head. Aroma of sweet malts, corn and citrus. The flavor is weak citrus, sweet malts, with a thin palate. Not their best brew by far, but inoffensive. shawnm213 (1035), South Bend, Indiana, USA

Malty aroma with light touches of toastiness and lemons, some light hops detected as well. Well balanced malts with a light dry and short hoppy finish. A refreshing beer if nothing else.
