Clear straw with bit sparkling and thick but short white head. Light aroma has grain, light hoppiness and bit fruit. Light body, semidry, light feel, malty flabor has also grain, finish is medium long, dry and grainy. Good lager, easy to drink, pure example of what lager should taste like.

bottle, 33cl @ home. Pours pale golden with a white head. Grainy grassy aroma. Grainy malt flavour with some grassy hops.

Tastes a lot like an AAL. Pretty bland and boring. There is a weird potato chip after taste.

standard massed produced pilsner. not that great but not terrible either. pours a golden yellow and has a weak grass taste.

12 oz bottle from New Seasons - I stopped by the store to get some groceries for a Mother’s Day Breakfast. I headed to the beer aisle like I always do just to check it out, and lo and behold, there was a beer tasting of Weihenstephaner beers. I tried the her, the pale lager, and the Pilsner, and ended up taking home a six-pack of Pilsner. Pours a pale yellow with a 3/4" white foamy head that sticks to the glass as you drink it down. Strong hops aromas. Strong flavor and good character. This is an exceptional lager beer.

Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: yellow, clear.
Aroma: aromatic hops, not too strong though, some malt. Taste is the same as aroma with a bitter finish.

Very nice pale yellow color. Wonderful fluffy, yeasty head that stays through to the end leaving a nice "Belgian lace" in the glass.
Good hoppy, peppery nose with a light, sweet malt scent lingering in the background.
The taste of fresh hops and hints of lightly baked bread malt come together harmoniously in the flavors. A very good beer indeed! My favorite, actually, from this brewery.
