Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. piwo swietnie wygladajace ladna zlocista barwa piana trwala i puszysta. Mnostwo babelkow. Zapach kukurydzy słodkiej, jabłka i trawy cytrynowej. Smak lekki orzezwiajacy lekko slodowy i lekko gorzki. Ogolnie jest sporo lepiej niż przy ostatnim piwie od Weihenstephan po którym się bardzo rozczarowałem. Klasyczny i jakościowy Pilsner

Not exactly a great beer for some grand analysis but I would definitely drink this at the beach happily. Drinkability is very high. Straw gold color with not much of a head. Lively carbonation with streaming bubbles buzzing up towards the top rather nicely. Light bodied with a slightly bready aroma that doesn’t do much. The malt imparts a gentle sweetness to it that the hops can’t overcome in bitterness. The aftertaste is very clean with seemingly low bitterness.

(Weihenstephaner Pilsner) Bottle 500 ml at home as Weihenstephaner Pils, served into a lager glass, ABV 5.1% Golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with lazy activity in it and a good sized but a bit thin white head sitting on top. Good retention. Aroma of malts and hay, taste follows but more clean, some grass in there too, with light bitter finish. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Nice thirst quencher and high drinkability.

Bottle. A- Corn, grains, lemon, subtle banana. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grains, corn, faint citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Better than a lot of pilsners I’ve had. I like the lemon and soft banana on the nose. Which it would translate into the taste more but overall this is nice.

Bottle at home. Aroma of grainy malt, hay, grass, some fruity notes, hint of hops. Flavour is slightly sweet with an above moderate bitter finish. Body is light. Fairly decent Pilsener with a good bitterness.

Pours a straw color with a medium sized soapy white head. Notes of butter, earth hops, slight ammonia, and dirt. Not great

A footed Pilsner glass full of Weihenstephaner’s Pils is a lovely sight. Effervescence and the snowy head make it a beer to lust over. In the aroma, you get cereal grains and earthy hops - not much, but par for the course with the style. Flavor follows the same suit yet with a more pronounced bitterness than most Pilsners. The lively appearance might make you think this beer will be spritzy. In fact, it’s extremely smooth and light-bodied. This is one you’ll polish off in no time. Good thing too since Pilsners get kinda shitty when they’re warm. Luckily, this one never got the chance to change temperature. I drank it too fast.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Clear golden color with white head. Light bready malts and some earthy hops in the aroma. Very balanced taste. You get a bit of malt and also some hops but nothing stands out. Body is quite soft for a pilsener. Not really my style of beer.
