COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

On tap. Pours clear and golden with nice white head, which stays till end with lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy hops plus some hints of bread, malt. The beer is dry, bitter with light body and high carbonation. Leaves medium bitter aftertaste. Nice balanced beer. Very good example of german pilsner.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 50cl. Clean Bavarian Pilsner with characteristic grass-earthy, spicy hops where they should be, pale malts in a precise subservient role and great lean, true-to-style Pils palate, ergo extremely easy drinking. This Pilsner by the millenium-old masters should become a benchmark for all the Bavarian Helles that dare call themselves Pilsner down there.

Take this for what it is and you will love it. Golden pour with a white head. Aromas of malt and a pinch of floral/citrus hop character. Very crisp and refreshing, one of the cleanest pilseners I have ever had. For the style, it doesn’t get much better. Solid brew.

Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Nicely balanced beer with lots of herbal notes and a crisp and refreshing bitterness. There are also notes of sweet white bread and vegtables. Clean!

Clear gold, with a tall, foamy white head. Grains, malt light grass scent. Taste is grain, straw, mild hop bittering. Not overly sweet, nor bitter. Simple...but well done.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Pours a crystal clear yellow colored body with an inch thick, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is pils malts with a light grainy sweetness, touches of straw, a few floral fruits, and some DMS. Flavor is better. A light straw hopping throughout with a few floral fruit notes and a lightly sweetened, somewhat grainy pils malt backing. No DMS on the flavor, thankfully. Finishes fairly clean and dry with a light bitterness before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body and a somewhat active, moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent pils. Not as bitter as some around here, but clean and balanced on the flavor. Not bad.

Kaatuu lasiin vaaleankullankeltaisena ja kirkkaana vaahdon ollessa (lasin ohuudesta johtuen) todella reilu, mutta melko nopeasti pienenevä. Pitsiä jää reilusti reunalle. Haju on selvästi eteläsaksalaismainen: ruohoista ja yrttistä humalointia, leipäistä makeutta ja tsekkipuolelle tyypillistä, joskin lievää voimaisuutta, joka tekee tästä hieman raskaan tuntuisen. Maku on hieman erilainen perinteisestä, ruohoinen ja yrttinen humala yhdistyy sitrusmaisuuteen. Lievää makeutta on alussa, mutta kokonaisuutena kääntyy kuivan leipäiseksi. Suutuntuma on melko kuiva ja raikas, katkeruuskin tuntuu. Erilainen saksapilssi, jossa on yllättävän paljon sitrusta. Muutenhan tämä on taattua laatua.
