COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

500ml bottle. Foamy white head, pale yellow colour. Metallic aroma with medium hops. Flavour is pretty thin on the hops side considering this is pilsner. Lager-like.

Svesse (6137) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2014
(Draught at Weihenstephaner am Hackeschen Markt, Berlin, 24 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, clean nose with bread, cereal and grassy hops. Malty, clean taste with notes of bread, cereal and grassy hops in a dry finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Not really exciting, but clean, fresh and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Pailhead (4806) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - AUG 29, 2014
Bottle: The aroma consists of light lemon, grass, faint cereal notes, and a touch of florals. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thick film. There is some dotted sheets of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with some light cereal/grainy sweetness. The finish has light-moderate grass, light lemon, and a hint of floral notes. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid summer thirst quencher.

Tap at the brewery. From old notes. Quite malty, more than your usual pils, with a bit of sweetness to go along with the bitter hops and fruitiness. Good, also with a nice aroma, although a step behind the Kneitinger we had the previous day.

Clear golden with a small head. Nice lacing. The aroma is bready pils malt with some light floral hops. The flavor is similar. Nice clean pils.

50cl bottle at home. Clear golden with a full white soapy which didn’t last too long. Light to medium body with ditto carbonation and a buttery mouthfeel. Medium bitterness with some sweet tones. Malts, grain, grass and some honey. A great pilsner!

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Grainy malty base, with light grassy notes and hints of sweetness. The finish could be cleaner. Not bad.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cracker), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A clean, crisp, northern German style, a la Bitburger (but cleaner than Bitburger is today, i.e. no DMS here). Enjoyable but very by-the-numbers and ordinary.
