Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

(Bue sur place en fût): Des zestes citronnés et un déploiement herbacé habite cette pilsener surprenante. Sa corpulence accentue le côté mielleux et son fini assez sec, la buvabilité.

330ml bottle poured in a weizen glass. Re-reviewed at the Wiehenstephan monastery @ Freining, Munich area, 28th of September, 2012. A: Pours a pale yellow color with a big white bubbled white head. Medium retention and many many lacings left in the glass S: Extremely simple smell. Sweet grains, honey and flowery hops. White bread Lager yeasts style T: Follows the nose. Again, extremely simple. Dominated by sweet malts. Honey. Very crispy and bready. Light pleasant citrus and flowery hops bitterness M: Smooth light body. Medium to low carbonation. Very drinkable. Nice bitter end O: Very honest German Pilsener. Weihenstephaner quality. Recommended [ BA Review @ 7/24/2011 ]

Flasche von Ambrosetti, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar; reichlich feinporiger weißer Schaum, der schöne Ringe hinterläßt. - Nase nur mild hopfenwürzig mit zarter Malzsüße. - Antrunk mild hellmalzig und zart süßsauer. Ein wenig schwächelnde, fruchtig-süßliche Hopfennote. Durchschnittlich rezent, schlank.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours gold with a white head. Taste sweet, grassy, floral. I thought this was good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2014 Aroma of banana, clove, grass, flowers, hops and malt. A bitter rather ripe and fruity pils. I dig. Detect some floral hops, too. I like.

(Draught at Weihenstephaner am Hackeschen Markt, Berlin, 24 July 2014) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, clean nose with bread, cereal and grassy hops. Malty, clean taste with notes of bread, cereal and grassy hops in a dry finish with a gentle bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Not really exciting, but clean, fresh and tasty. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light lemon, grass, faint cereal notes, and a touch of florals. It pours a transparent gold with a one finger white head that quickly fades to a thick film. There is some dotted sheets of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with some light cereal/grainy sweetness. The finish has light-moderate grass, light lemon, and a hint of floral notes. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a solid summer thirst quencher.
