A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Well, this is delicious. I am sharing a bottle of this with my beer buddy beerbaron617 and we both thought it was pretty damn good. Pours a beautiful golden opaque yellow, with a huge fluffy white head. An abundant aroma filled with, of course, wheat, yeast, banana, clove, and even a hint of the citrus. Itís got a medium mouthfeel with a light syrup sensation. Just the right amount of carbonation, and it makes my mouth feel really juicy. Great flavor, great nose, gear mouthfeel, probably the best wheat style Iíve had in a while.

First off.. Iím not the biggest wheat beer fan in the world, however, this is the best wheat beer I have ever had, thus far. It tastes like banana bread, with all the yeasty, bready, sweet bits that make up a quality wheat beer. Yummmm! Just do yourself a favor and get some. Cheers!

500 ml. Pours a lemony color with super-fluff head. Could pass for an ordinary hefe. Kind of low on the carbonation, and the body is very creamy. Some banana and clove and sunny fruit. A slight hint of the high AV, but still good for warm weather. Mostly just a souped up hefeweizen, but thatís enough for me.

Pours hazy orange with a rather light head. Aroma is wheaty with lots of banana. Flavor has much more banana and sweetness than I anticipated. Tastes quite a lot like sahti, which I donít really like either. The rather low carbonation doesnít help this case. A disappointment.

What an interesting beer, very dense texture and look. Dirty blonde and very cloudy with a copious head of white foam, aroma showing bright clove and fruit, fruit, fruit. Taste bananas and sun-ripe pear, and a bit of zingy citrus, cloves, Bubblegum. Cloves. There must be hops or the sweetness and body would be overwhelming, and the balance is actually fantastic. A real treat. I should mention the sediment was really glued to the bottom, suggesting a ímatureí bottle was found & it did not hurt this beer.

This was fantastic, drank direct from bottle and will have again in a proper glass. Perfect balance of standard weiss characteristics (banana, clove, bubblegum notes) and a light malt aftertaste. Recommended.

500 ML bottle. Hazy yellowish orange with huge soapy creamy head. Head fairly thick, that slowly diminishes to a bubbly white color over the cloudy orange color of the beer. Flavor comes across with a strong banana with a silky but crisp soft effervescence. Finished with more of a bitter tang then I expected with a grainy and slightly sour-fruity taste. Aromatic an nice to drink. Good Weizenbock

UPDATED: APR 3, 2010 500 ML bottle in Germany. Cloudy orange off color. Head of off white color was gone quickly. Armoa was of citrus, cloves and banana. Creamy carby feel with a citrus and stronge alcohol taste at first that wears off after the beers warms and you adjust to the taste. A good example of a orange color WB. Good stuff.

Superior beer. Cloudy gold w/ thick lasting head; aroma is fruity and soft of bananas with a malt note; flavor is banana with some tang even a note of licorice; feels silky yet crisp with soft effervescence; finishes somewhat dry with a bitter tang of licorice and note of bananas.

Hazy yellowish orange with huge soapy creamy head. Damn this head wonít diminish. Aroma of banana and spices, Flavour is sweet of fruits, mostly banana, some very mild bitter and sourness with citrus. Itís a nice beer, but weird, I wouldnít know when it is a appropriate moment to drink this again.
