A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Cloudy yellow with a lil bit of white lace. Nose is strong banana, bread, brown sugar. Very weizen like in flavor, pretty nice and easy drinkable. Citrus upfront, with banana and bready malt finish. Pretty good.

0,5 l bottle, Csakajósör, Budapest.
Hazy straw colored, thick liquid with a strong but creamy, pillowy off white head. Complex aroma with overriped fruits, tropical fruits, banana, fantastic spicies, honey and clove, cinnamon. MMMMMM!!!! Thick body, complex flavor profile with a strong characteristic fruity taste. Banana, lichy and mangosteen, honey and caramel, malt. Mild hop with clove and cinnamon, long fruity aftertaste. Fantastic, complex one!

Pours a cloudy light gold. Smells of a tradtional Hefeweizen. Tastes of citrus, wheat and Hefeweizen yeast and ends with a light alcoholic flavor.

Poured from a 16.9 oz. bottle into a weizen glass. Pours a hazy golden color with a 4 finger frothy white head. Very nice lacing. Smell: Lemon, wheat, clove, banana and spices. Very strong aroma. Taste: Clove and banana up front followed by bread and spices in the middle and ending with a light hoppy bitterness. Aftertaste is semi-dry with hints of banana. Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium-bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. A little slick feeling on the tongue. Drinkability: Excellent drinkability. The alcohol is well masked so you could knock back a couple pints without much trouble. Overall: Excellent beer overall. Another fine offering from the world’s oldest brewery.

Bottle from John’s Grocery, Iowa City Ar: Big fruity weizen nose. Lots of banana with a bit of bubblegum and some spice. Ap: Pours a very cloudy orange-straw with a pillowy weizen head that dissipates somewhat quickly. T: Sweet on the nose, with a light tart bite on the finish. Nicely balanced, maybe a touch too sweet. P: Semi-thick, highly carbonated body. A bit sticky on the tongue, but not in a bad way.

Key Foods, Brooklyn 500ml ($4): Really vividly white head with a cloudy yellowish body. Really spicy aroma, of I guess cloves and the like along with the fruity elements. Taste is on the sweet side of things... very fruity with citrus and banana notes. Quite spicy, but well balanced. Alcohol covered very well. Creamy and not too much carbonation.

500 ml bottle courtesy of fata2683. Thanks Keith. Pours a cloudy dark yellow color with a big fluffy white head that has great retention and ample lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength with wheat bread, bubblegum and banana. The flavor is similar to the nose with wheat flavors dominating, add a touch of clove and you get the whole picture. The palate is creamy and full with soft carbonation. The finish is long with lingering banana and light cloves. Overall: A first rate weizen bock, I loved it.
