4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pale colour, probably the only weak point this beer has is its slightly cloudy insipid appearance.
The flavour is another story altogether, despite its 7.7% abv. there is no alcohol warming, a sweet vanilla, banana, taste.
Mmmmmmm this is what it’s all about!

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Layers of banana, vanilla, clove and spice that has a complexity and mouth feel that is uncommon for the style. Intensely sweet, but strongly balanced and flavored. Nose showcases typical weisse notes. Light golden colored with a filmy white head. Stunning wheat ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 3, 2009 Cloudy golden brew with an ultra-white, utra-thick head, nice wheat scent, and a clean, lightly spiced flavor. Real fine hybrid style template.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted, looked, and smelled pretty much the same as the Hefeweizen. However it was a bit sweeter and you could mildly taste the alcohol at the end. Another winner from Weihenstephaner

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice cloudy pale yellow color, healthy head. Smells of banana and hefeweizen. The flavor is nice, cloves, citrus, lemony, very interesting. I don;t know much about German beers or weizenbocks but this was quite good and I’d like another bottle to investigate further.

Fresh, lemony wheaty aroma.
Lightly sweet, some lemon notes. Spritzy palate.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The look is cloudy with a yellow golden color and a decent white colored head. Smell is bananas, some spice, wheat, and some fruits. Little lighter than I would have wanted. Taste is banana, alcohol, wheat, and malts.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 mL. Aventinus glass. Pours a bright, neon cloudy yellow with a nice white cap that settles down into a nice thin layer. Not much lacing. Aromas of cloves, coriander, yeast, pears, green apples. Taste is light and refreshing with a nice wallop of spice, yeast, citrus, and sour apple. Dry, wine-like finish. Very nice though a little too much cardboard at the end.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy straw blond colour with massive thick, lumpy head. Aroma is quite yeasty with a little spice. Texture is rather thin and a little flat. Considering this as a white beer the flavour is quite fullsome with the spiciness at first and a softer, sweeter finish.
